The trouble with a cheap specialized education is that you never stop paying for it
Herbert Marshall MC LUHAN (1911-1980)
Man is very proud of his brain. Scientists are making it transparent in its tiniest parts but its global functioning is very mysterious. Psycho specialists have tried to understand it but a lot remains to be discovered.
Simple individuals due to particular experience and non scholar hypotheses can still find without prejudice the key to a few of its mysteries.
Laterality can be considered as the capacity of preferably using the hand and the foot on the same side as a function of which of the two hemispheres in the brain is dominant at birth.
Simplifying, if the left hemisphere is dominant the right hand will be directive and the left hand will be directive in the opposite case. Therefore we note that the control of the hand and the foot is located on the other side.
This dominance is determined at birth but is not as easily recognizable as the sex.
The right hand is more often directive and there are many cases where the dominance of the right hemisphere controlling the left hand is not perceived or used for various reasons which include ignorance of its existence, habits, culture, religion and even politics.
Consequently, certain individuals are reversed since they do not utilize the dominant hand.
It is true that the presence of two directing hands distributed according to different proportions does not simplify life of the communities but we have to accept it since it is an important characteristic of the human species.
A study of the laterality therefore must endeavour to determine it accurately at birth or later on at an early age if possible and to understand all its subtleties and in particular what happens if the non directive hand is used instead of the other.
In fact, anyone can develop the second hand instead of the first (called dominant or directive) with practice, whether he be lefthanded or righthanded by birth, although the situations are such that only left-handers are generally reversed, due to the larger number of righthanders at birth who influence them.
Consequences of the reversal do not only relate to the skilfulness and force of the hand and the foot but go far beyond and in particular are significant among others on the psychic, affective, sexual and behavioural planes.
Animals, apart from primates, are probably not lateralized as their members act by pairs in most cases. This is true for cows but perhaps not entirely for apes.
Moreover what would be the utility of laterality to them since they do not intend to modify Nature by means of tools ?
The idea that the dominant atmosphere of the brain determines the main hand appeared as a consequence of works about the brain. The Frenchman Paul BROCA (1824-1880) discovered that the language center lies in the left brain (hemisphere) and therefore that it is normal to use the right hand in majority. Following his experiments it was also found that this center could also lie in the right hemisphere.
The situation seems confused if not complex since both of righthanders and left-handers are found, having the language center on one or the other side. Therefore, the language center cannot be related inevitably to the fact of being lefthanded or righthanded for these reasons, although the hand is supposed to follow the language center.
According to recent studies the lefthand hemisphere would be dominant for language with more than 85% of righthanders and 60-70% of left-handers and many left-handers have bilateral functions for the language. I have found nothing special on the subject of polyglots : why not attributing them two centers bilaterally ? Similarly why not admit that laterality reversed people who have no language problems have originally two centers bilaterally that may or may not develop as a function of the circumstances ? We know that neotenia (prematurity) is very significant for “finishing” the human child.
In the anatomic or functional respect it would appear that the righthand hemisphere or the lefthand hemisphere are not entirely the same and it is usual to confer to one or the other distinct thinking and capacity characteristics. Is this true for all male or female individuals whether righthanded or lefthanded ? In other terms are these hemispheres, in principle different and of similar enough appearance, located invariably on the same side in all people ? We may probably reply negatively.
The simple idea which relates the control of the right hand and the left hand to a distinct hemisphere is not admitted unanimously due to the complexity of the brain. Now we possess non destructive means for invading the brain much safer than during Broca’s life time but the more we discover the more we produce theories which are not always very gratifying or satisfactory for left-handers and which contribute to the debate.
Are significant in the composition of the brain the regions called
Broca and Wernicke since if they are touched they can provoke special aphasies.
A modern theory (8) (9) is based on chemistry by measuring hormonal or other elements and notably starting from the real or assumed fact that men would be more often lefthanded than women, thereby bringing to light the testosterone ratio.
It appears that those who are called left-handers with most scientists are the individuals who write with the left hand. Then 10 to 15% of them are found depending on the authors and there would be 4% more males than females, this being important if we consider such proportion. On the contrary if we rely on other definitions there would be 30 to 40% left-handers and such difference of 4% does no longer appear to be significant.
This theory by Geschwind-Behan-Galaburda (GBG) (8) (9) dates back from 1987 and irritates strongly the left-handers since they are considered as “failures” as compared to righthandedness (which is not dexterity !).
Such racism is very disagreeable and might shed doubts on the accurateness of the theories of a few “righthanded” scientists.
We can analyze such theory in its main lines by considering the critical and objective paper (13) by Monica WATKINS, Harvard Undergraduate Neuroscience Journal, entitled :”Creation of the “sinister” : biological contribution to lefthandedness”.
We can extract what follows of the GBG theory, the portions in italics substantially reflecting the opinion of the cited author (13):
We live in a world in which righthanders seem to dominate. The lefthandedness was and is still considered as a handicap, a bad habit or the symbol of a “sinister” state (in Latin “sinister” means : lefthanded and sinister). Recent studies try to connect left-handers to socially undesirable behaviors such a psychosis or a criminal activity. Social implications of such stigmas are tremendous.
“Left-handers might be one of the last unorganised minorities in our society, without collective power and without real sense of common identity” according to (5) (6), Stanley COREN (1992). In the past they have tried to understand the physical, mental and social consequences of the lefthandedness.
According to GBG the scientists rely on biological bases.
They have proposed that righthanded children are developed normally; they show symmetries on the left side in the language zones. On the contrary the lefthanded children suffered from complications which provoked abnormal cerebral dominance. Consequently, the motive coordination shifts to the lefthand side of the body in those children.
Although in these hypotheses they have brought forward a complete enough alternative proposal, this theory is truly questionable and causes many debates.
The theory by GBG (8) (9) says that genetics has little to do with determination of the lefthandedness. Influences external to a strict genetic program are more significant for determining laterality. Studies have shown that damages to the brain in development at certain stages can provoke significative changes. It is possible that a variation of the chemical environment of the foetus would cause such changes and bring a certain cerebral dominance. These chemical variations also influence the immunity system. Later on the effects of such influences may be apparent as immunity disorders and abnormal structures of the brain.
Still according to this theory the chemical variations and their effects are important for the following : lefthandedness is more common with men, the language disorders are more frequent in men, lefthandedness is related to disorders in the development in the childhood and immunity disorders and other sicknesses are more common in left-handers. In other terms lefthandedness is the common directive line in problems that were supposed not to be bound.
Definition of lefthandedness according to GBG :
A complete or only partial laterality (not the leg, not the eye, and the like) on the lefthand side.
Incomplete genetic continuation and development :
The lefthanded parents do not systematically procreate left-handers in a large number. Due to this people are born as righthanders (dominant left hemisphere) but there is a transfer to the righthand hemisphere due to abnormal development. The significant factors are probably chemical.
Men would be 86% righthanded and women 90%, i.e. a 4% difference.
If lefthanded are effectively 10 to 15% of the population only this difference is significant but are they not more ? (remark from the author of this book)
Testosterone (male hormone) would then be the key factor for the lefthandedness tendency.
Relationships to development disorders.
They cite dyslexia, lack of concentration in the studies and mental retardation.
The famous language center would lie in the lefthand hemisphere but sometimes in the righthand hemisphere as a sort of “refuge” or a substitute piece due to a unsatisfactory state or damage to the lefthand hemisphere.
Relationship to immunity.
Such theory relates lefthandedness to immunity and language disorders.
Many are questioning this theory which is based on the hand which writes, the reply to tests and the conscience of being or not left-hander. Nothing on a starting point based on the hemisphere at birth.
Homosexuality
Homosexuality would be related to testosterone (more or less testosterone).
Studies have shown that such theory cannot be applied to left-handers as regards homosexuality and immunity although the theory wanted to include them therein.
Longevity.
It would be smaller (by 10 years ?).
But other studies demonstrate the contrary.
Since the lefthandedness seems to be as spread out as ever in humanity the fragility attributed to it is not confirmed; if not left-handers would have disappeared since a long time.
IN CONCLUSION, GBG’s theory almost exclusively founded on chemistry does not seem to attain definitive final truths despite the enormous work furnished by these Americans.
This theory would also seem to admit, in addition to ordinary left-handers, a few geniuses (Leonardo da Vinci, Charlie Chaplin, Einstein, for instance) in this category having problems, since they should actually explain them by “abnormal” conditions. Among women (less scientific probably) there would only remain the genial actors Nicole Kidman, Julianne Moore, Angelica Jolie and Julia Roberts. From the left-handers mentioned in the English-speaking lists we find Napoleon, but this is not proved by referring to historians.
According to Antonio de Beatis who visited Leonardo da Vinci in 1517 (and ignored his lefthandedness according to a citation of his
testimony !) Leonardo, old and the right hand paralyzed, was using the left hand for this reason. It would be the last straw if Leonardo was a frustrated reversed right-hander, from his young years !
In the specialized literature at least one French author (12), Stéphane Thieffry, states that lefthandedness is not a sickness but is a biological characteristic.
Other authors, the French (7) Charlotte Faurie and Michel Raymond think that according to the evolution theory (see Darwin) left-handers should progressively disappear since they are a minority but that they still subsist because they are better in fights and now in sport opposite right-handers due to the surprising effect. They then triumph in such competitions and can easily seduce females, thereby producing a lot of lefthanded descendants because lefthandedness would be hereditary.
Unfortunately as regards confirmation of this (childish) theory, lefthandedness is not directly hereditary since they say that right-handers have the same propensity to generate left-handers.
Canadian authors (10) Lalumière (!!!), Blanchard and Zucker find among left-handers a significant proportion of homosexuals of any kinds. Others contest : see the critics by Whitehead (14) who does not believe them.
We would also find much more autistic and epileptic persons among left-handers. If the statistics of these authors are made on the basis of 10 to 15% of left-handers in the population this conclusion is normal when it is found for instance that there are 35 left-handers out of 100 autists, which is three times more than in the “normal” population of left-handers but this is wrong if we are allowed to think more prosaically that one individual out of three (33%) or even 40% of the population would be lefthanded at birth, contrary to a few statistics. We can also assume that an autist cannot hide his true nature (whether lefthanded or righthanded).
Europeans : Frenchmen, Italians, Germans, Poles generally base they studies on the extensive researches made by the Americans. Russians have a word meaning : lefthanded (levsha) but none for lefthandedness. They do not seem to be strongly interested.
Educationalists speak of the writing by lefthanded children in a more original and above all more practical manner. In this respect it is strange to note that nobody ever referred widely to what happens with populations writing from the righthand side to the left (Arabs) instead of from the lefthand side to the right as in Europe : they would find there methods of writing to the inside (instead of to the outside as in the case of a writing from left to right) which could be used by teachers to help left-handers whom they make write to the top, to the bottom, obliquely, and the like or by realizing a sort of hook. (Since the point pen, we can easily write horizontally without making any ink blots).
We may note that among languages 44 write to the right (the outside) and 20 to the left (the inside).
At least two authors (4) Ting Ting Chan and Benjamin Bergen state that the direction of the writing influences spatial recognition.
Since the above remarks and theories are not entirely confirmed one should simply and more securely start from another base, suspected since Broca, for instance, the dominance of one or the other hemisphere at birth, but how can we determine it ?
As a matter of fact, indices of lefthandedness or righthandedness relating to the hand or other members have suffered from the influence of the practice and acquired, which makes them little reliable and in any case it is excluded to count left-handers according to the hand or leg criterion since practically there are several sorts of left-handers as follows : the complete, the frustrated, the reversed and the ignored. This increases the proportion if we start from 10 to 15%.
Why not consider the dominance of one hemisphere as coming from an electric, magnetic or other natural cause, not chemical or anatomic, of a type which will probably be verified later but is not perceptible now ? It belongs to the patrimony of humanity; it is therefore genetic but not directly hereditary.
This essay is founded on observations and experiments leading entirely by chance to an idea of polarisation either positive or negative of each of the two hemispheres, whether they be on the right or the lefthand side, and moreover similar or different, such situation being related to the respective sex.
The mentioned idea appeared and was developed by the author of this book only because he was persuaded that specialists had without any doubt proved that the dominance of a hemisphere was determining laterality. It was then obligatory to seek this assumed dominance present at birth in the brain without being interested in the hand proper. Otherwise he would have done as everybody does, i.e. counting the left-handers and studying them from the outside, by verifying which hand is dominant.
It seems however that such dominance postulate is not be admitted by all (see GBG and the transfer of the functions of one hemisphere to the other, often because of a deficiency in the left hemisphere !).
It is not easy to admit as is proposed here that one can perceive such polarisation by means of a simple test as described further on. Due to this a few will perhaps search to authentify the veracity of its existence in another, very scientific manner. Indeed, if the dominant hemisphere determines the directive hand more advanced researches on the brain will permit later to find such dominance, probably by means of a sophisticated apparatus.
Furthermore, another test resulting from the evaluation of the voice which is recordable, therefore analyzable at will, was found by the author; it is realizable by all those who have a good ear and permits detection of left-handers (= dominance of one hemisphere at birth) who are old enough to speak and who later have become reversed because of the circumstances.
These hypotheses, discoveries or theories, of unexpected and complex consequences do not pretend to result from innate knowledge but deserve to be listened to, seriously studied without prejudice, deepened, contradicted, weakened or confirmed.
At the beginning the purpose was to make a short biographical account on a particular situation and describe a few original ideas to be explained with the only purpose of being useful to persons living the same circumstances.
We mention above as need be what was done and found in parallel by scientists on describing the exposed hypotheses.
In patents of industrial invention the prior art is dealt with to show what is novel and the inventors benefit for twenty years or so from royalties based on the exploitation and handling of the invention.
The scientist himself is very diplomated and competent, which is not contradictory, and appears neutral and experienced. He drafts a lot of papers and books to inform or raise problems with his colleagues in a limited surrounding. Seriousness reigns.
Or he makes a popularization book in which he banishes all words drawn from Greek and Latin to address the non specialized reader. The author of this type of book is well placed in the scientific hierarchy but understands sometimes that it is useful to teach unspecialized people for educational reasons.
The scientists must therefore be cited abundantly since apart from problematic copyrights for their arduous and laborious, purely scientific books they cannot hope for any other rewards than the esteem of their peers and the specialized university media distributed in all countries of the world.
As a matter of fact, they cannot count on patents of invention generating royalties.
We can appreciate in this respect that a true industrial invention occurs only every twenty years; others are only improvements.
After reviewing papers on the subject, although I did not want to admit certain actual scientific theories, I found myself sensitive to a few of them. However, even if what is stated further on has no pretension of absolute truth it is very possible that the mentioned ideas present a strong percentage of authenticity.

1. Revelation and detection of handedness
1. Revelation of laterality and attempts to detect it
Having made the hypothesis that I might be left-handed (dominant right hand brain hemisphere) rather than right-handed (dominant left hand brain hemisphere) by birth, without having developed the left hand and having used the left hand as the only directive hand at the adult age, after previous exclusive “traditional” development of the right hand, it was obvious for me to search for individuals who could correspond to this exceptional pattern, or at least to a schema of ordinary left-hander, so as to study them as completely as possible.
If I changed hand at the age of 23 it is because some difficulties had appeared in my life despite a normal and even brilliant scholarship, i.e. migraines, stomach burns, fatigue, absentmindedness, back aches and the like and a terrible shyness that rendered me practically mute in public.
Therefore I had to abandon the usual studies and to renounce any interesting “active” life at an early age. Instead I had to deal with metallurgical factories and painful manual works. Finally, much later I became an engineer and a technical translator after changing hand.
At the mentioned age I had lost any hope of a beneficial change in my life but I read a simple report on left-handed children and this added to the fact that my left eye was much better made me suspect, without knowing anything more specific on left-handedness that I might nevertheless be left-handed by “birth” although at school and in my family this phenomenon was unknown. In the miserable state I was I would have tried anything.
I did not believe that my hypothesis was accurate but I tried.
After three months of manual efforts i.e. hitting, rotating, launching, splitting, boring and …eating with the left, everything changed including the color of my voice and my ability to speak. I even became too talkative. Above all no shyness anymore and a strong concentration as necessary.
Obviously head aches, developing ulcers and stomach burns disappeared for ever.
It also seemed necessary for me to write with the left hand and to decide to maintain such activity since true ambidexterity (= two directive hands being used randomly depending on one’s mood) makes one undecided and too much conscious of the movements.
I was never able to return to the use of the right hand for more than three days. It is to be noted in this respect that manual practices are memorized in the brain and revive as soon as they are used again all the life without being forgotten.
This short personal story shows that I never suffered from any of the usual damages resulting from coercitive methods such as bonding the left hand to the back to force one to write with the right hand and other “straightening” and that I have no left-hander complex such as I believe the young nowadays. If I practiced the right hand since my very early age it is because I chose it freely and unconsciously to avoid being alone in an unusual category.
Therefore I have no idea of belonging to a sort of club of left-handers who need a special king of scissors to cut a ribbon and that would oppose a club of right-handers, in the same way as a club of Black would oppose a club of White or a club of Homosexuals oppose a club of Heterosexuals, while frustrated Feminists fight with no less frustrated men.
Left-handed entirely belong to humanity and saying that they will be suppressed by the so-called “evolution” because they are minority would be equivalent to suppressing either men or women. It is not even a category of “strange” beasts. They want to be ordinary, unnoticed and usual. They even wish to get rid of Leonardo da Vinci who comes up all the time as if nobody else had done anything great since his old time.
At the outset I tried to find documents on the subject. In my remote and lost place I found nothing beyond a description by the “specialist” who stubbornly requires the kids to jump on either foot out of a very poor imagination. As my problems had been solved I was not interested in the detection of a personal left-handedness.
And when much later I intended to write on left-handedness to describe this “conversion” and this unique experience I read nothing in this respect in order not to suffer from powerful excessively intellectual theories and be influenced thereby, and to be able to expose as such my original ideas.
Only recently to draft a foreword to this book did I discover the enormous work done on laterality based on human sciences and experiments, in particular neuro-anatomy, biology and chemistry.
These detailed studies are however external. This is why I speak of my personal internal experiments in this chapter.
The intended purpose consists of exposing simply an aspect of our nature, with the hope that such considerations will permit useful thinking and better understanding of humanity since many human characteristics remain mysterious.
Ignored left-hander
In order to satisfy my tendency to search and to understand what occurs with left-handers as compared to right-handers the essential problem was however not to find someone who had suddenly discovered that he was left-handed from birth without having had the possibility of developing this laterality for various reasons. Moreover, it was even unlikely to be able to tell such a story to specialists (which specialists?) or any other amateurs who normally neglect laterality.
Everybody knew or believed that if one had the “happiness” or perhaps the hard luck to be born left-handed (due to the particular brain) it was obvious for him to use the left hand, because he had always known this personal characteristic as a child, at least for manual work. There was probably no “ignored” left-hander in the medical literature.
Who would explain such situation of ignorance, trying to persuade others that the hypothesis of the existence of ignored left-handedness was right, was to be considered at least as a fool or super eccentric?
However “oblique” left-handers (directive hand and foot on different sides) have probably been mentioned in the medical literature.
The concept of the existence of two hemispheres in the brain, with one dominating (how ?) the other, such dominance requiring the individual to act with the one hand rather than the other, which is purely medical and is neglected or ignored, did not seem to lead to logical consequences for most people, including the medical world. In the twentieth century and more ancient times it was therefore not possible to say :” I concluded suddenly for various reasons that I was left-handed at birth and therefore started to use the left hand which had no strength and skilfulness until then.”
An inverted left-hander could not in any case be a good or excellent pupil at school; even he ought to “stutter” according to the usual opinions!
First left-handed observed
Therefore it only remained to me to keep silent and observe carefully around me to draw a maximum of lessons. I remember the first (frustrated) left-hander in action whom I saw since he was working in the same Chemical Laboratory of the factory. Naturally, he was writing with the right hand. At that time I do not see how he could have done otherwise.
He was very proud to be able to write with the right hand, even though he had suffered a lot as a child, and he was not considering any direct, medical or other consequence from the fact that all his intellectual and manual activities or references took place for more than 50% by the “weaker” hand (or brain). The word "weak” is noted in this manner because I do not know at all whether force or other characteristic is pertinent.
However he regretted a little, without knowing why, not to have learnt how to write with the left at school and later on as an adult, but he did not go on further. Pride came from the feeling that he could confirm the absence of a handicap as he was acting as everybody else does. They had made him believe he was not normal; he tried then to become “normal”. In these ancient times they insisted on skilfulness and force rather than other virtues to justify the use of the first hand (but did they know how to find it?).
What he proved to me is how many people obey habits and laws, or decrees of others, without revolting and without questioning the rules and how a child can be influenced to divert him, mainly unconsciously, from what he considers to be his intimate nature, so that he follows the common trajectory.
As a child one hates being different from the others (a situation of foreigner or handicapped person, for example) even though he might feel he is not like others and the child has greater tendency to follow the group since he suffers to be out-of-the-way or in a minority.
However, paradoxically, it is by obeying one’s nature and moving away from what is obvious that one becomes “normal” as are the others. But how to explain this to children while adults themselves know nothing about it and in as much as doctors, often reversed themselves, ignore totally what laterality is ?
Detection of left-handers without observing their hand
This chapter is not intended to inform of the circumstances which cause a conscient (partly reversed left-handedness) or not conscient inversion (unconscious inversion because it is too old, or not at all manifest or too early, in the child’s memory).
I only wish to speak of a phenomenon difficult to explain which permitted me to detect left-handers from the outside, whether they be apparent or not by the hand used, without actually questioning or knowing them, and therefore to “count” left-handers.
Obviously, to be able to say that, although right-handers are actually a majority in humanity, left-handers at birth (dominant right-hand hemisphere in the brain) are nevertheless numerous, probably from 30 to 40%, including the ignored, the frustrated and the complete left-handers, one must have a “secret”, a method of detecting them and among right-handed recognize the “false” right-handed who are actually reversed left-handers (= rl), the other left-handers being the frustrated ones (writing with the right = fl) and the complete left-handers (= cl).
Before entering into details of the method, I must say that at the beginning I thought that laterality was symmetrical, i.e. there is always a “first” hand on the one side or the other and that left-handedness is no recessive subsidiary to right-handedness as is believed by some scientists.
In other terms there are no left-handers (unskilful people) in humanity. Everybody is “right-handed” (skilful people); there are only right-handers whose (first) “right” hand is either on the right or the left hand side.
The “second” hand whether on the right or the left is placed on the other side that may be on the right or the left. This affirmation (hypothesis) has the merit of simplifying the question since one may say, if the first hand is on the right, he is right-handed and if it is on the left, he is left-handed.
When after intensive observation someone asks me:”Are you left-handed?” I reply:”Of course not, you see that I am a left right-hander”.
Is this external symmetry perfectly verified? It is not certain as the continuation will show but in a first approximation such hypothesis is not bad. Moreover, it has the advantage of not following the usual ideas related to the vocabulary since the word “left” in all languages implies unskilfulness, “awkwardness”, therefore lack of keenness or even of sharpness.
Let us cite a few significant examples. Here is the situation in various foreign languages : starting from French where the term “gauche” means “deviated” (see : gauchir, to warp) one goes to the Latin “sinister” which gave “sinister”, the Italian “mancino” (little hand”), the Spanish “izquierdo” (twisted), the English “left” (abandoned) and the German “linker” (soft, dull), the Russian “levsha”, the Czech “levy” and the Polish “lewy”, all with the gratifying meaning of “twisted”, and one can finish with the Hungarian “bal” (left) which resulted in “baleset” (accident, literally : left-hand side event). In the movies the actor who manipulates the sword with the left hand is unmistakingly a traitor.
Method of detecting differing lateralities
The basis of the method starts from the following remark:
when I was looking at persons being face to face with me, namely right eye directed to the left eye of the other person and left eye directed to his right eye, without obviously insisting, I noticed very often that if I met in the street someone walking toward me, whether a man or a woman, I had the tendency to bump into him or her, which is very annoying.
“Bumping” means : intending to go right when the person facing me want to go left (to his or her left-hand side) and going left when the latter wants to go to his or her right-hand side, in the same time and for the only purpose, not reached, of avoiding each other.
In fact one does not actually look into the very eyes since the other often watches the ground.
Can there be reciprocal attraction or rather a sort of fascination since everybody wants to go toward each other in the same time?
With other persons there is never any risk of bumping into each other but on the contrary there is a sort of “repulsion”, a distinct wall, a forbiddance or an opposition face to face, and the result is that they easily avoid each other.
Everybody can sense this phenomenon of remote “contact” since each possesses a particular look whether attractive or repulsive, neutral or impressive. Many hate mirrors which return their own image as an opposition which they feel.
It is to be noted that the feeling and therefore detection is maximum OUTSIDE houses and in the course of a MOTION, whether one goes to someone else or moves away from him. There is reinforcement with movement and a situation of open air. I am not sure that strong sunshine amplifies detection of the phenomenon but the absence of light has negative influence.
In fact, someone coming to you sends a signal intended perhaps simply to show his intention of movement.
Why and how can we use it to detect laterality?
Existence of two distinct sensations
When I was searching for left-handed men I found at once that there was such attraction or neutrality face to face. On the contrary there were individuals who induced me to believe that they were right-handed, since they opposed a sort of wall or antagonistic force in the face to face position.
Therefore, I concluded after a long enough research that there is an eye of the one type (polarity) on the one side and an eye of another type (opposite “polarity”) on the other side.
If you meet a right-hander, the right eye, let us say of the “positive” type, is face to face with my left eye which is of the same type, also “positive”, which repulses it or is in opposition.
The same applies to the other eye, the left eye of the person observed, which is obligatorily of the other sort, “negative” sort, which also opposes my right “negative” eye.
Therefore, there are two opposite feelings.
If two sorts of opposed “radiations” did not exist, how would it be possible to observe that in one case i.e. left-handed and left-handed and in the other, right-handed and right-handed, there is a reversed, reciprocal reaction ?
Trying to locate such sensation
The explanations given here as to the method of feeling the phenomenon by concentrated sensitivity undoubtedly will find response with certain people so that they will feel the same.
All seems to happen at the level of the directive eye; in one case there is a kind of agreement and in the other two musketeers cross swords with one another. The detection even occurs at a reasonable distance if there is motion.
To arrive at a reproducible and interesting result and if many obtain it, you will note that such radiation should logically be present not only at the level of both pairs of eyes but also on the whole body but in distinct, dissimilar points as explained hereinafter.
As a matter of fact nothing prevents one from testing (looking and feeling) a hand, an arm or an ear to see what occurs. The feeling relating to an ear (center) for instance is reversed as compared to that occurring with a hand or an eye (members) on the same side.
Classification of individuals depending on the kind of “radiation”
When I happened to find a LEFTHANDED GIRL who obviously wrote with the right (fl) but was sure to be left-handed by birth since all her actions apart from writing were made by the left hand, I had the surprise to note that her reaction to the eye test was the same as with right-handed MEN.
Hence, I thought after a short while that a left-handed MAN and a left-handed GIRL have similar specific polarities on the right and the left.
As a matter of fact, many women were in accordance with me face to face (= no opposition). Obviously they were right-handers.
The other women had actually differing polarity characteristics because they were left-handers with complete opposition face to face.
In the same way all left-handed men and all right-handed women have the same radiations on the same sides.
Consequently, conventionally if I call “male” or positive the directive side of a man I shall call “female” or negative the directive side of a woman, inasmuch as with men the “first” hand, according to the preceding explanation, has a radiating characteristic differing from that of women.
Left-handed men and right-handed women have the same radiation phenomenon on the same side but do not use the same (first) hand. The same applies to left-handed women and right-handed men as seen above. '
Therefore laterality (a state of the directive hand called “positive” or respectively “negative” as a function of the SEX) seems well determined by the SEX. Force or skilfulness results from characteristics related to the respective sexes and the first hand corresponds to what is indispensable for each sex : a hand called male or positive for men and a hand called female or negative for women .
If the male hand is on the right it is a male right-hander and if it is on the left he is left-handed. If the female hand is on the right she is right-handed and if it is on the left she is a left-hander. That is all.
Any individual who is appropriately, wrongly or not, educated may probably develop, by practice, force or skilfulness. If the primary hand of a man is stronger it is because men are more muscle-developed and need force for the requisite work. In women this hand has not obligatorily such characteristic.
Moreover, only left-handers become more or less AMBIDEXTROUS; it is not a special feature: it means simply that the “education” tends to place everybody into the same mold. All people whether right-handed or not may equally acquire skilfulness in both hands if they spend enough time. Magicians and jugglers will not contradict me.
Distribution of the “polarities” in the body.
After a long time I determined in the end that division of the human body into two portions, right and left, in the vertical direction was not as simple as that and that indeed there were FOUR parts (including the center : torso, head and sex, in the vertical direction) separated by three vertical imaginary lines. In fact there are members (two sides) and the center (also two parts).
Then there are four sectors, two and two: male and female, and male and female, in the horizontal direction.
These four sectors in the body have alternate polarities that can be also called for instance positive, negative, positive, negative, in the horizontal direction.
The alternation cannot be a great surprise since they each belong to a different side or consist of a central half-portion placed on one or the other side. In fact the vocabulary including the words male, positive and female, negative is only a practical convention.
It is to be noted that one cannot escape the binary concept when humanity is considered: large, small; beginning, end; positive, negative.
The fact that the radiation or polarity sensed relates to the entire body rather than only the eyes is fundamental: if there had been only a reaction at the eye level rather than on the whole body I would not have detected and considered that there are four significant zones or sectors, i.e. two member parts and two central parts which are distinct because they are located on either sides.
Eyes are more accurate and nearer (?) to the brain, if one may say; it is therefore logical and acceptable enough that these “windows” can play a role of detection in addition to the vision.
In order to go further in the analysis one has to imagine and realize that the eye which makes the detection is divided into two parts through a vertical median line thereby each producing a respective external and an internal half-eye.
In fact, I was not long before noting that looking at the interior eye near the nose did not produce the same result of “agreement” or “opposition” than at the exterior eye, but rather a reversed result.
Medical discoveries confirm this subdivision of the eye: the external half-eye corresponds by nervous or other connections to the internal half-eye on the other side and this is the very point where I observed one and the same “polarity” for these two elements.
It is also known medically that the brain hemisphere behind the corresponding forehead controls the member on the other side. Hence, one could say that the half-forehead (hemisphere) has the same “polarity” as the corresponding member placed diagonally. This step is accepted simply once the “radiations” and polarities have been detected.
“Let us only mention the following facts, with Dr Manuel BERRONDO, who signalled himself with entirely pertinent works on the conjugated hand-directive eye motivity in relation to strabismus and in particular left-handedness. The control of the look to the right occurs with the help of the left hemisphere as is the case with the motions of the members on the same side, and vice versa. For the visual feeling it is to be noted that each eye transmits information through the retina to the right-hand hemisphere and the left-hand hemisphere through each vertical half-field by which the things seen and the motions are projected in each hemisphere due to the crossing of the fibers of the optic chiasma”.
(Cited by Dr J.Raynaud in “Mesker’s test and left laterality” in relation to “The human hand”, 1977, by P.Mesker (in Dutch).
In simple terms this means that both eyes are connected to see on both sides in a distinct way (inside, outside).
The four zones or sectors present in the head at the level of the eyes: external eye, internal eye, other internal eye and other external eye, prolong themselves into the whole body through vertical imaginary lines on the same pattern as the eyes.
What is practical with the detection is that clothes, especially close-fitting dresses, do not prevent detection. The black color of the clothes seems less “transparent” than the jeans.
In order to develop a reliable radiation diagram of the human body, it is sufficient to note that certain elements belong to the external sectors such as members while the others belong to internal sectors.
Detection in practice
Obtaining the detection with one’s eyes into somebody’s eyes is obviously not practical or even possible if one wants to observe people without their knowledge but more practical solutions exist since the radiation is present in the whole body. What prevents one to experiment on a hand, an ear, a nose or a leg since clothes are no obstacles? However, when clothes are absent it is sometimes more difficult to realize the test for lack of habit and because of strong feelings.
Detection on the one side must obviously be confirmed on the other side where you find a reversed polarity as compared to the first. A very practical field of observation always at your disposal is television since the radiation is perceived through films and photos, but this will create problems in respect to films with “virtual” actors.
Reasonable remark regarding the detection method
According to description of the method we note that it appeals to feelings that some people will have and others not. As a matter of fact, this is a kind of mediumnity which one is able to feel and develop or not, or it belongs to telepathy at least as regards the initial feeling of attraction or repulsion. Such detection therefore is not properly “reproducible” and “scientific”. Moreover, it appears perhaps in individuals who practiced both hands and urged both hemispheres to realize movements (true ambidexterity).
Furthermore if it is dealt with telepathy only (sending and receiving signals) it is difficult to apply it to photos and films which also permit one to feel radiation.
Despite this non scientific nature of the tests I could propose acceptable hypotheses and discover plausible functionings as well as original characteristics of laterality.
Often valuable discoveries are made on the basis of dubious or unprovable events.
Whether we deal with a radiation from unknown waves (beyond the visible frequencies for instance limited between infrared and ultraviolet) which are felt without being seen or radiations of other types, whether calorific or not, in as much as an apparatus responsive thereto was not yet invented.
The phenomenon described also amounts to perceiving the intended movement of the other person (telepathy).
This makes us realize that due to the not scientifically reproducible nature of the method it is wiser not to insist on the eye test for the time being.
Fortunately there is another complementary test based on the study of the voice which everybody can develop.
(Please refer to chapter 9 for both tests)
How useful is such detection ?
What is the utility of the detection? If all children could be tested by means of a reliable apparatus there would not be any frustrated or ignored left-handers. If consequences of the reversal of laterality were non-existent or without any interest the test would be a curiosity of statistic value but this is not the case.
The description of the personality of men or women based on data relating to laterality whether accepted and developed or ignored presents much significance, if only to show openly certain characteristics or faculties of the individuals.
Also it can be seen with the test whether the individuals in a couple are theoretically compatible. If human nature is lateralized there is a serious reason for such complication. Why not try to understand and take advantage of this?
Possibly those animals, at least the mammals, which are closer to us and to a lesser degree the primates are substantially symmetrical, i.e. male and female on both sides as a function of the sex. For instance is the bull’s voice very different from the cow’s voice? If the voice of women is so different from men’s voice it is because of the fundamental difference between these two body entities which is not limited to the sex proper.
Are both brain hemispheres in animals functionally similar? Is this not THE fundamental difference in respect to us ? When suitable apparatuses for detecting the radiation in question will be designed it will be very interesting to test animals.
Are both hemispheres different in individuals and in the same way ?
At least one scientific hypothesis is well admitted because it was verified by in vivo experiments and based on anatomy and tests : it is when they say that the right-hand hemisphere in the brain has such and such characteristics whereas the left hemisphere would have such and such other characteristics.
There are distinct properties between the “main” (action hemisphere) or dominant hemisphere and the other according to neuro-anatomists but such hemisphere is not always either on the right or on the left side in all people, even if it is distinct anatomically since according to the exposed hypothesis we deal with an electrical or magnetical dominance at present unknown rather than an anatomic one.
That the right hemisphere should not be entirely the same as the left one anatomically or otherwise is very probable since inside the body it is also the case ( heart and liver on different sides) but attributing it specifically the language, the sense of space or other things, thereby excluding the other, is questionable if exceptions resulting from laterality are not accepted.
The sense of space for example rather results from characteristics related to the sex and the interest or non interest it provokes.
Why not two distinct language centers that can possibly be developed in childhood but which are not always developed?
Here follows a short list which shows how distinct are both hemispheres whether dominant or dominated:
Functions of the dominant (digital)
Language,
Dextrous motive formulation (actions),
Arithmetics: sequential and analytic calculation capacities,
Musical skill: sequential and analytic capacities of trained musicians,
Sense of direction: following a plurality of written directions in sequence.
Functions of the non dominant (analogical)
Prosody (emotion from the tone of voice),
Visual-spatial analysis and spatial attention,
Arithmetic skill to correctly align columns of numbers on a page,
Musical skill: in untrained musicians and for complex music pieces with trained musicians,
Sense of direction: finding its way by means of a global spatial orientation sense,
(According to Hal Blumenfeld: Neuroanatomy through clinical cases, chapter 19, 2002).
A much more detailed table of the characteristics of the hemispheres can be found with Dr. Bernard AURIOL (3). In the whole the description is concerned with analogical and digital features depending on whether the hemisphere is secondary or primary (generally right and left in right-handers). Moreover he cites sicknesses or negative aspects of either ones.

Couple matings depending on laterality
Once polarities and therefore lateralities of the individuals are detected we may raise questions as to their mutual affective relationships, for instance within the couple.
Who mates with whom ? Does chance only urge individuals to mate?
If in a couple (man and woman) there is an opposition face to face and in another couple, of mutually opposite polarities, a kind of agreement, of members to members, on the one hand and between the central zones, on the other hand, is the couple of the first case of similar polarities not suitable, whereas it would be suitable in the second case of opposite polarities?
In other terms, a right-handed man and a left-handed girl, or a left-handed man and a right-handed woman, in the first case mentioned, would be suited, whereas in the second case, a couple of left-handers or a couple of right-handers would not be suited in respect to one another.
To complete the above remark it can be noted secondarily that individuals of a pair (no couple) i.e. man and man or woman and woman, of the same polarity correspond to one another, face to face, according to what is mentioned above, and that those of differing polarities oppose each other face to face.
Such correspondence or opposition gives rise to competition and friendship since they are of the same sex.
Logically, such situation must have a significant meaning. After much time and many experiments it would appear to me that couples of right-handers on the one hand and couples of left-handers on the other hand are made to conjugate in their group despite this radiation “opposition”.
As a matter of fact, if there is an opposition face to face there is agreement between the members (both external lines) and the center (both internal lines) which comprises the forehead, the internal eyes, the neck, the double torso and the SEX.
Therefore there is attraction with appeal to motion between the members of a given individual and the center of an individual being face to face with him (= copulation).
In the case of couples of “mixed” polarity the global attraction face to face gives barely a sort of reciprocal “fascination” without any appeal to motion.
In the case of couples with similar polarities, attraction between the center of the one and the members of the other encourages motion and speech (which also is a motion), thereby obtaining the necessary conditions for sexual coupling.
In this respect we can emphasize the fact that two individuals of opposite sex are suited when they can speak to one another easily. This is the easiest sign revealing the same laterality. In the opposite case the one (man) speaks to the other but conversation starves. It is a monologue: we ask and reply alone. One of them (woman) ends it up by saying this.
Any couple that is not capable of exchanging words is a temporary couple and thus it has no future. There is no real complete attraction, apart from physical less intense (?) attraction resulting from anatomic and physiological differences.
In a world of right-handers having one laterality only the question of finding whether couples of right-handers are suited would not be raised. Similarly in a world of left-handers there would not be any set choice either. They would always have this face to face opposition which urges motion and therefore coupling.
Confirmation of the “normal” coupling
I believe therefore that only couples of the SAME LATERALITY form durably. The others form only momentaneously, rarely or not at all, in the present time when forced marriages are no longer admissible (?).
In the ancient times and still now in certain countries marriages were arranged. How many historical catastrophes have occurred, due to this habit!
I tried for a long time to believe (or hoped for it) that it was indifferent to have such and such polarity, similar or different, in a couple, but have to admit that this is not the case.
The explanation produced by the movement resulting from the attraction of the members to the center (face to face) appears to resist any counter-argument.
Do reversed individuals (use of the second hand instead of the first) who mate with other reversed individuals or left-handers of other kinds (very general case) do this because they both have a specific characteristic or because they have the same polarity?
I truly believe this latter hypothesis is true because matings between individuals of opposite lateralities are very rare and generally do not last.
Are left-handed built differently inside (brain among others) with respect to right-handers? Even though the male or female polarity is present in both lateralities as mentioned above, is the brain organized in the same way between left-handers and right-handers? Doubt is permitted.
Anyhow the orientation and location of the internal central organs are not the same with respect to the hand (the heart hand and the liver hand).
Another proof of the necessary mating between the same lateralities is that well lateralized male or female left-handers have the (rare) choice between mating with similar individuals or with reversed. They seldom mate with similar individuals and do not with right-handers.
These matings between a developed and a reversed left-handers (or vice versa) cannot be perfect since the “education” of the central part (brain development) is not the same but they can last and ordinarily last, despite unavoidable mutual overlapping of activities caused by the resemblance of both active brains.
A complete left-hander would perhaps have the tendency to mate someone of the right-handed category in order to avoid feeling oneself in a kind of ghetto of left-handers of all degrees, if he does not accept that he should find his mate in the left category, but this is probably an illusion since as mentioned the major instinctive attraction toward the other sex aims unconsciously at someone of the same laterality.
Of course, this coming together between individuals of the same laterality happens intuitively by taste rather than by reasoning.
Moreover, in view of the smaller number of left-handed as compared to right-handed and the fact that generally women are the same number as men in each category it would be logical to think that the “normal” coupling should take place within the same sort, this of course being confirmed if one accepts the existence of differing polarities and their mechanism of action.
Problems in the mating between left-handers
What are the problems caused by such ill-assorted situations?
We suspect that the lack of conformation to the natural laterality causes reversed development of the characteristics of the brain, the voice and generally both central sectors.
We shall see further on based on a hypothesis resulting from observations that in fact the reversed development of the hand causes concomitant “not adjusted” development of the brain. This can be confirmed only if it is admitted that men and women have an intrinsic different way of thinking.
It results from such situations that a reversed or frustrated woman has substantially a MALE development of the brain. Her voice will be based on vowels and normal development of the mental corresponding to the sex concerned will be absent.
Natural development of the hemisphere will be only unconscious, not educated by practicing the hand.
For a man it will be the opposite: the brain as developed will be FEMININE.
Reversal of the members will reflect negatively on the double central line: brain, neck, stomach, digestion organs, back, bowels, sex, and the like.
Conflicts in these couples occur because one (any one of them)
has the impression that the other encroaches upon his domain and in the same time does not fulfil his duty. The conflicts are shown at the level of the voice and of the reasoning (and sex) and are unavoidable, even with good will.
One of them then will give up but feels frustrated and this is not a durable solution since there is a more or less conscious revolt. If one considers the situation from another point of view it may be said that none will feel independent of the other.
If grandpa fixes things grandma will interfere, even though she is not really interested or will despise such fixing, with the only purpose of controlling (encircling) and even DOMINATING the other. One can also take the example of a well lateralized woman and a reversed man.
The woman will have the impression of having everything to do and not being able to count on him to take responsibilities.
If not so, either the one does the work of the other and the other the work of the one (reversed or frustrated people) or, contrary to the case of a completely left-handed girl or a completely left-handed boy, if one considers the extent, let us say 180° of the (non sexual) activity of a couple, in a non equally developed couple one will act over 90°, and the other also but overlapping partly, let us say over 45°, the 90° of the one, thereby giving a total activity in the couple of 135° instead of complementary activities which add each other to produce 180°.
Hypothesis on the proportion and origin of the two lateralities
Let us hazard a hypothesis on the reason of the unequal number of right-handers and left-handers. First there is probably more reversed, refused or frustrated (as regards writing) left-handers than complete or integral left-handers. They are therefore more numerous than is usually believed.
Why such difference between the number of right-handers and left-handers whereas among humans there is about the same number of men and women, who mate?
Such difference is not of the same order: the left-handed women and the right-handed men on the one hand and the right-handed women and the left-handed men on the other hand do not marry in a natural and obligatory way. Therefore both categories may be in different numbers.
However there are as many women as men in each category of laterality in my opinion, whereas “officially” there are less left-handed women. In fact there are more reversed left-handed women than men due to their mental resilience or their smaller interest in works requiring strength, and because of what people would think. As there are as many men as women in the same category we can perhaps say that they are made up to regularly and preferably (?) mate with each other.
To exploit imagination we might think for instance that such distribution has geographical causes since apparently left-handers are found at the extreme latitudes: Scandinavia and Australia. There would be less left-handed in Africa according to my inquiry resulting from the images on the TV.
Why not assume that the proximity of the EQUATOR produces left-handers? Since population is denser near the equator and moderate temperature countries than in countries situated near the POLES there are more right-handers than left-handers in humans. The more remote from the equator the lesser its influence and then sometimes REVERSAL of the polarity occurs.
This “polarity” however intervened a long time ago and belongs to the genetic capital. Does the geographic position act nowadays also? Probably.
With the actual mixing of populations which will not stop, Black can be found in Sweden. This tendency was never so sharp and results from travels as well as race mixtures that religions, which were the main obstacles thereto before, can no longer prevent, because of their significant loss of influence in this respect.
The initial proportion might therefore change in the future. The geographic explanation may appear more plausible if it is noted as is probably the case that there is a bigger proportion of left-handed Black in the USA than in Africa. Anyhow nobody until now has ever found any convincing explanations of such phenomenon.
Our assumption, without any true interest, except curiosity, is therefore as good as others, more complicated.
There is another hypothesis on the origin based on the mixtures of primates which perhaps have created the humans.
In a film watched on TV they speak of the early humans and in particular the Neandertalians and the following parallel species i.e.Cromagnon or generally homo sapiens sapiens. We could not come from the Neandertalians because DNAs would be too different.
The conclusion therefore would be that only the species homo sapiens sapiens survived while others were still there until 25000 years ago. No sexual relations? Strange and impossible. No rapes? This declaration seems to result from the absence of material data. As a matter of fact, according to palaeontologists the bone of the finger generally is sufficient to give a complete image of the individual found!
Why should we not be the result of the marriage of two primate species rather than the descendents of one and the same species?
The double laterality could perhaps proceed from such union between people of the North and people of the South.
A marriage between robust and less robust races, primitive and less primitive, left-handed and right-handed.
The left laterality is depreciated, without any doubt. Is this not the memory of a cruder tribe?
The explanation of the origin is not very significant whether it be geographical or other, with mutations or adaptations.
Neandertalians disappeared for being inadaptable or less fertile. If they were less adapted to changes is it because they were symmetrical and less lateralized on one or the other side? A useful feature of laterality is that it urges men to act and therefore to modify the Earth and their destiny. If these Neandertalians were symmetrical (as are animals ???) did they lack the indispensable faculty of adaptation to survive up to our time?
For transmitting life their females were perhaps not fertile all the time as is the case with human females or those of homo sapiens sapiens.

3. Sexual and morphological differences in couples
3. Sexual and morphological differences in human couples
Resemblances, comparison and symbolism of the activities
Obviously we might observe as mentioned that the body of a human being successively includes in the horizontal plane :
four interesting zones delimited by vertical planes, from the left to the right or from the right to the left. In other terms, there are an arm and a leg on each of the sides, and the center, which is double and can be divided into two parts, of apparent similar forms (at least from the outside).
There are thus a first and fourth external zones (members) and a second and third internal zones (center).
The four zones in question have theoretically a continuous extension without interruption from top to bottom, even though the center appears to stop before the ground, between the legs. In the seated position the center also touches the ground !
With the four-legged animals the general aspect is the same as with humans, as considered in a horizontal plane (parallel to the ground) in animals and a vertical plane (perpendicular to the ground) with humans.
Four distinct zones in the horizontal direction
(right to left or left to right)
The head itself is also subdivided into four parts or zones : two external and two internal parts.
The eye itself as mentioned above is subdivided into an external part (near the cheek) and an internal part (near the nose); the nervous inner connections are such that the external part (near the cheek) of both eyes corresponds with the internal part (near the nose) of the other eye, on each side.
The first zone therefore includes, above all, members, i.e. the external active and movable elements, namely, the arm and the leg as well as, in the head, half of the hair, the external part of the eye (near the cheek) and the cheek on the same side.
The two other zones between the members are therefore internal.
The second zone, also extending in the vertical direction, belongs to the center; it includes in the head : half of the forehead (one hemisphere), the ear, the internal half of the eye, and the half of the nose, of the neck, as well as, in the body, half of the torso and the stomach, including half of the pubis and the sex.
The third zone corresponds to the same elements as those of the second zone, on the other side.
The fourth zone contains the same elements as the first but on the other side.
The first and third theoretical zones mentioned have the same polarity or the same type, let us say, type A or positive, and the second and fourth zones also have the same polarity, of type B or negative.
This affirmation is based on the observation that the extreme zones are on opposite sides respectively, therefore having different polarities and that the internal adjacent zones, to be distinct, must each be of one of the polarities, one with respect to the other.
Why would the two polarities of the external elements be the same as those of the central zones? Can there be four polarities instead of
two ? It is excluded that they should be four since there are at least functional connections (1 and 3 or 2 and 4), between the center and the members. Let us see for instance the hemisphere of the brain on the one side which controls the member (the hand) on the other side.
Two zones or sectors in the vertical plane
The human body also has two other divisions or sectors in the vertical direction, i.e. the upper part and the lower part. The upper sector contacts, above all, the air and the fluid environments, with the lower sector lying on the ground or consistent material. The force of gravity maintains it on the ground and leaves no other choice than moving itself by conforming to the requirements of such force.
The animal, having four legs chooses to be in contact with the ground and air, in another manner, (horizontally), thereby permitting development of conscious smell (head downwards) rather than conscious thought (head tipping over to the rear).
Two connected controls
Man possesses two cooperative control devices : upstairs the brain proper and downstairs the sexual apparatus. One can indeed speak of two mutually dependent controls with distinct structures and goals since they are both active in their specific domains, have specific “thoughts” or “feelings” and respectively represent complementary and indispensable activities.
An animal, let us say, a mammal to be nearer to man, has also two sectors, one being apparently the upper portion represented by the back and the other being the lower portion which comprises the stomach and legs.
But in fact, both sectors are : the forward portion which corresponds to the upper part in man and the rear portion which corresponds to the lower part in man.
It is more obvious to see there two control means, the one in the front and the other in the rear. Has he got the same energy zones as has man on the same places according to the same distribution of polarities ? Probably there is a fundamental difference although man is barely a mammal which was transformed through the ageing process, mutation and evolution, and by means of the vertical setting upright.
The animal is perhaps symmetrical enough, whereas man is definitely not, since despite the existence of two independent arms liberated by the vertical walk, he possesses an active and a passive arm. At first sight, according to a simplistic enough idea, if both members would act equally and indifferently, no decision would be made. This is the famous case of Buridan’s donkey who is unable to decide between two alternatives, such donkey not being capable of choosing between two sorts of food.
Man is different from animal not only by standing upright thereby conditioning development of the brain, but also by the laterality which conditions development of the activities of subsistence and destiny and modification of Nature.
To influence life and to work, one has to be attracted unequally, therefore in an asymmetrical manner. The animal himself does not try to influence his fate, whereby he does not need be lateralized. Moreover, what would be the utility of being lateralized if he moves on all four legs. He is lateralized from the front to the rear rather than laterally as is man. Obviously it is very interesting to also study the animal in comparison.
If one succeeds in understanding man under certain specific aspects that his nature could obtain, we shall also understand the closest animal based on the same aspects.
Aspect of the human beings according to the sex
If one attempts to characterize the global aspect of man and woman with respect to one another, by comparing them anatomically, it can be seen immediately that the male is conformed as a triangle, wide (broad) upstairs and slim downstairs, while the woman, also triangular, is slim upstairs and wide downstairs.
Furthermore, the vertical dimension of the upper part in man (torso) is greater than that of the lower part (thighs, legs), and the opposite in the woman. In other terms, the torso has a larger vertical size in man with respect to the legs whereas legs in woman are longer than the torso. Obviously, Venus and Apollo are described here, not ordinary people.
They are consequently of complementary forms in respect to one another and this is the very basis of sexual differentiation. Is this complementarity of forms and therefore also of functions (if not, why this difference ?) also a complementarity having a meaning as regards the active functional capacities of the one or the other ? Has the difference in forms, apart from the difference in sexes which is easily admitted since it is obvious, a meaning other than functional and sexual?
Does the UPPER part of the one (man) resemble the LOWER part of the other (woman) ?
We could check whether the upper part in man has a form ressembling the lower part in woman, and vice versa, due to the simple fact that they have an identical global geometry (triangular, wide or narrow), but mutually reversed.
It appears that the answer is YES. As a matter of fact, is it not surprising to note a similarity of forms and also probably some similarity of functions, between the upper part in the male including the head, and the lower part in the woman including the sex, and between the upper part in the woman and the lower part in man including the sex ? The details can be discussed (to what the nose, the mouth, and so on, do correspond ?).
Similarity of bodies of different sexes but not in the same points
In this comparison, let us observe animals on their four legs : the head at the one end is opposed to the sex at the other end. In human beings upper and lower parts attached by the central point (navel) can be imagined as being separated and reversed with respect to one another for comparison purposes.
It is to be also noted that in animals the breasts (udders in cow) belong to the sex (the lower, rear part) not to the upper (forward) part as in humans. Therefore, in humans a change of position of the breasts toward the upper part occurred as compared to animals.
This is why we can say that in animals there is only an upper (front) part of a neutral aspect and a lower (rear) part of differing sexual aspects.
With animals there is no sexual configuration resembling the other sex in the front part and therefore animals do not possess both sexes in one individual contrary to the case of humans as the continuation will attempt to prove.
Lateral dissymmetry is of no use in animals because of the four legs standing on ground. They are probably symmetrical for this reason. Dissymmetry is human and has useful functions.
How could the lioness jump to hunt if the breasts were in the upper part of her body ?
The animals have a front part to permit subsistence and a rear part for the reproduction. They are mutually independent and their mating is therefore incidental, not for life.
The standing position acquired by humans resulted, among others, in dissymmetrical development, introduction of the characteristics of both sexes in the individual (double configurations) and change of location (upraising) of the feeding means (breasts) for the young.
This upraising of the breasts after (due to ?) the standing up position facilitates running but definitely prevents women from fighting and hunting because of the fragile presence of the breasts. Her hunting is feeding and educating the young; somebody else (the man) protects her.
Magnified representation of the other sex upstairs
Moreover, such position of the breasts permits to assume that the upper part in human beings is a magnified representation of the other sex since without the breasts in the higher position how would this representation be complete (head = sex, breasts = testicles) ? And this representation is significant mentally and physically. Logically, however, the force of gravity should tend to keep the breasts in the lower part but Nature is such that for other reasons they are located upstairs, contrary to other mammals.
What is the situation with the other primates as regards breasts? It appears that they are the same as the humans.
In detail, there is great similarity between the lower part and the sexual attributes of women and the upper part of the body of men, the latter comprising : a wide head (women’s sex), cheeks having bristles forming a beard (woman’s pubis), not much hair on the head, a wide voice, therefore a receiving voice, corresponding to the wide head, wide shoulders (women’s hips) and externally not developed, pectoral muscles, which are therefore hidden (such as women’s ovaries).
There is also similarity between the lower part and sexual attributes of men and the upper part of the body of women, the latter comprising : a narrow head (men’s sex) and absence of hairs on the face (hairless sex of man), long and well furnished hair, an acute voice, therefore a transmitting voice, corresponding to the narrow head, shoulders narrow enough (reminding men’s hips), feeding breasts jutting out (testicle system of men).
In this apparently simple comparison, the first control device (brain itself) of men would be equivalent as regards configuration (and function ?) to the second control device (sex) of women, and vice versa.
In other terms, it appears that the respective upper parts of men and women are a magnified replica (image) of the main constitutive and distinctive elements of the other sex. We could discuss a lot on the details of the comparison : does the head as a whole correspond to the copulative part of the other sex, whereas the breasts and the pectoral muscles respectively correspond to the other double elements (testicles and ovaries) of the genital apparatus ?
The general tendency of each of the individuals of opposed sexes to also have the configurational characteristics of the other sex at different levels cannot be denied if one considers the global geometry.
(Which of the nose and mouth corresponds to a sexual element and the evacuation means, respectively ? The nose sniffs, breathes, evacuates somehow and the mouth breathes and appreciates odours, savours, drinks, and eats. At the other end the sex cooperates with the other sex. Therefore, the sex seems to correspond to the nose while the mouth (food) is equivalent to the evacuation (rejection) means, but this is not very important for the comparison).
The comparison of upper part and sex results in the use of symbols that can be used to understand how both sexes are complementary and functional.
Such correspondences and resemblances are no meaningless coincidences. They emphasize the idea that everything is complementary in both sexes, in the functional and physical planes, provided for reproduction and the mental and functional planes, provided for general activity.
Voices
In the double central part and in the male the voice is low (broad), formed with lower frequencies as produced by the use of less tensed vocal cords. It is therefore paradoxically “female”, i.e. receiving. It is not surprising that such voice is slower in speech due to its breadth and tends to “surround” with a continuity feature (“direct current”).
In the same central part, in women the voice is acute, being formed of higher frequencies with more tensed vocal cords. The voice is therefore “male” and penetrating i.e. transmitting. Such voice comes out in quick pulses (”alternative current”). Thus, no man, in principle, can, or would like to, speak as quickly as a woman. He speaks louder, we agree.
Both foreheads
What becomes of the forehead and the double brain (hemispheres) located in the skull? Both hemispheres are certainly also complementary according to scientific hypotheses and the style of thinking of the dominant hemisphere should presumably correspond to the distinct form of the upper part.
As a first approximation, one may assume :
- that the male has a main brain of wide shape (synthesis) and a secondary brain of narrow shape (intuition),
- whereas the female has a main brain of narrow shape (intuition) and a secondary brain of wide shape (synthesis), if we follows the characteristics resulting from the general geometry mentioned above.
Thus, we had assumed that the voice and the main brain (hemisphere) have the same form as the global configuration of the upper part of the body, since they are located there.
The mentioned hypothesis of upper and lower parts of different forms which also would correspond to a distinct “geometry” that could explain the forms of the voice and the thought is original.
This very simple and probably correct idea could explain a lot concerning the functions of both hemispheres. In any case this is clearer than saying : the right hemisphere does this and that and the left hemisphere does that and this, without taking laterality into account.
Therefore we make the risky hypothesis that man’s brain assembles (woman’s sex) and that woman’s brain penetrates (man’s sex). Synthesis and intuition respectively result in each of them.
That the hemisphere of one of the two sexes is superior to the hemisphere of the other, because the dominating form in one sex would be such and such is meaningless since none of them is complete and includes the complete intelligence by himnself so that it could ensure life and survival of humanity. The only purpose of the complete brain (of both brains actually) is to provide life and survival.
If the broad should be more intelligent than the slim it would mean that the brain of smaller volume is less than the brain of larger volume, which is not true because the quality of the connections is significant (see Anatole France, the writer, who had a brain of little volume). The only opportunity for the individuals to represent a complete, physical and mental entity, of a perfect type, is when they unite in couples. Moreover, it is the only occasion when this is necessary.
Is the situation similar with animals (mammals) ? It would appear that the differentiation in animals is rather global (absence or presence of distinctive signs on the head, or differing volumes).
If the dominant elements of human brains of both sexes, in addition to other parts of the body, were not complementary in form and function, how could stable and durable couples exist in life and how could they create a family which is the addition of two different configurations ?
To develop in the same direction with two sexes there should not be any competition; therefore they must have personal tools. If not, they each do their work without any fruitful cohesion.
As everything functions by attraction between the contrary or rather the complements, the characteristics of the brains must be of the “fitting together” type or of opposite polarities. In the contrary case, they would not stop fighting with one another either in activities or words (thoughts). Many examples show that this is often the case. A significant question then is to evaluate how it occurs and how it happens in detail, and why this happens.
If you consider the case of friends of the same sex (similar and not complementary) in principle there is no question of sex between them : therefore competition or mutual aid or friendship occurs.
The so called secondary sexual characteristics have much more significance than what is thought of and permit to understand how humanity functions. If one admits that the activity related to the sex of one or the other is conditioned by the geometric form of the reasoning tool and that the upper part of the male body corresponds to the lower part of the female body, we can risk a description of said activities.
What surprises in the general activity of men is their relative absence in the procreation and in women their relative absence in the creation of physical objects (monuments). It is sufficient for her to say : I want a house.
The woman makes the child, the man makes the HOUSE, which is the same, at distinct levels of different functional planes.
If we concede that the actions of men correspond for the physical activity (work) to the procreation role of the woman, in particular, the fabrication of the child, whereas the actions of women for the physical activity correspond to the role of men in procreation, we understand more clearly why the actions of men are more concrete, voluminous and visible, whereas the actions of women are impregnating, selective and rather invisible.
The mentioned configurations will help when discussing and describing certain consequences resulting from laterality.
In the following chapters we intend to speak of the laterality through our study of the writings, the languages and the difficulties or advantages of the laterality reversal and certain features related thereto.

In the following chapters we intend to speak of the laterality through our study of the writings, the languages and the difficulties or advantages of the laterality reversal and certain features related thereto.
4. Forms, symmetry, dissymetries
4. Forms, symmetry, dissymmetry
It is appropriate to return to what we assumed in respect to the general form of the human body : a triangle with the point upstairs and a basis downstairs for women and a triangle with a point downstairs and a basis upstairs for men.
In women the upper part consequently is a point and the lower part a circle, or the opposite, if you refer to men. Point and circle are more practical and expressive denominations than “wide” and “narrow”.
We could also divide the upper and lower parts into four sectors in the vertical direction, namely : the head, the upper part of the torso, the stomach and the sex. However it appears that we can speak of two configurations only rather than four in the vertical plane, relating to the form and not anything else (detectable from the radiation).
This difference in forms in the vertical direction is revealed by means of the eyes (or the contact) only, not by sensing a radiation contrary to the horizontal parts or sectors. This is why configurations or forms only are mentioned.
We have also assumed that the functional characteristics of the upper and lower parts of the body have a similarity relationship with these anatomic forms.
We can thus easily think that the upper brain (two hemispheres) will probably have the same functional geometry as the upper part in the same way as the lower brain (sex) is globally of the same form as the lower part.
Distinctive forms in the sexes (members and centers)
What is the exact situation as regards the anatomic details ?
Are the members and central part formed into a point upstairs whereas the lower part has wide members and central part (for a woman, of course) ?
This is what is observed above all in central parts and less in members.
As a matter of fact, one cannot say that the members (arms and legs) are narrow upstairs (arms) and wide downstairs (legs), or vice versa, as a function of the sex, although the arms of a man are more muscle developed, therefore a little wider and the arms of women slimmer, therefore narrower, but the rest of the legs up to the torso is incontestably wider or n, depending on the sex.
What is significant in members, for the specific activity, is that hands and legs in both sexes correspond generally as to form or volume to what is observed in the upper part of the mentioned triangles.
However the nearer the central part, the more confirmed is the general distinct form as shown by the differently placed triangles. This fundamental difference makes us assume that the development of the central part upstairs also corresponds as to form and activity either to a point or a circle, depending on whether it is a woman or a man.
The lower part is already differentiated because it includes the sex. Incidentally, it is to be noted that the hand of slim and pointed form which is the main hand in women is used to take a hand bag (to hide in it) whereas the (wide) hand of men carries the bag (a brief case !) generally with the secondary hand which is feminine (pointed). Men do not like putting their main hand (= wide) in a female object (document bag = wide).
Horizontal and vertical polarizations (the wide and the narrow)
Male and female polarizations in the horizontal sectors do not appear openly and distinctly so as to provide double, anatomic elements which would be dissimilar in shape in the same manner as what occurs in the upper and lower planes (wide and narrow).
But one nevertheless considers them as dynamically dissimilar because of the polarity in the horizontal plane on the left and on the right.
These polarizations are only detectable from the radiations by means of the eye or a future apparatus to be invented and cannot be seen by observing the forms.
Since at the level of the eyes of the observer the 4 polarities of the horizontal plane can be detected as kinds of radiations, produced and sensed, as is done by a sort of radar, this constitutes the essential of a test which permits to detect laterality.
Specific functions in the vertical and horizontal directions
Both poles of activity of the upper part (work and thoughts) in the human couple are the survival (against the elements, the animals) and the subsistence (food, cares and education, thought and decision).
Both sexes should not be blocked to a narrow zone of professional (= what is necessary) or artistic (= what is superfluous) activity since differing instruments can theoretically always reach the same goal with more or less success as needed and in accordance with the interest caused.
However it is wise to meditate on the theory based on the forms which permits to go forward slightly with simple ideas.
If the work of men corresponds to the sexual activity of women it will have some of its characteristics : creations from A to Z and completion over a determined period, groupings, accumulations, different rhythms and finally interruption of activity of (pro)creation and retirement.
If the work of women corresponds to the sexual activity of men it will also have its characteristics : charging and discharging, “I disseminate to all four winds”, “I am always ready to recommence”, “I choose, I move, I influence”, and this activity lasts as long as life, with obviously descending terminal periods.
It can be seen that that the lower sector provides for locomotion and survival (digestion, emotions, procreation, activities of the second brain, namely the sex).
Now it is time to think about the general sexual behaviour of both sexes.
In MEN there is production of sexual energy which he tries to use.
If we consider the electric field for instance for comparison purposes it can be seen that a capacitor charges and discharges through an electric resistance. We can find therein an analogy with what happens in sexual relationships.
The sexual activity of men has characteristics of the pulse type. It resembles the pulsed or alternative current.
In WOMEN (the electric resistance with respect to the capacitor, if the comparison is accepted) the sexual activity resembles more to that of the direct current.
The man himself has sexual needs because around him there are women who influence him.
The same applies to women with different needs and style.
One and the other react because they are mutually in presence.
It is interesting to compare the natural character or reactions of either one in the lower part due to the fact that the specific behaviour of the upper part – so well considered because there is the brain therein – would reflect the sexual characteristics of the other sex.
In this respect the form of intelligence can also be symbolized by a circle in man and a point in woman (it is more expressive than wide and narrow).
Their activities of fight for subsistence also correspond to such a proposal since this also relates to the upper part.
In the horizontal direction the four sectors have mutual exchanges to make activities and movements which characterize the living being.
All of this shows that one cannot escape a BINARY situation, up and down, right and left, male and female, positive, negative.
It is rather difficult to describe such a situation as regards reasoning, intelligence and conscious (and professional) activity in, and on, the surrounding world but if we are guided by the above ideas it must be possible to do so.
CULTURAL consequences of the existence of distinct forms
A woman penetrates the world whereas man seizes it; the woman pecks about and tastes but man tears off and swallows.
The woman covers and dresses herself (upstairs) because the point form needs introduce itself into something and be surrounded.
Man opens and widens himself (upstairs) but is covered regularly downstairs.
Women like changing her look depending on fashion because they have got reactions of the variable type. Fancy with her is inborn. Her intelligence is intuitive since it penetrates the medium.
The man, on the contrary, decides by reasoning (?), turning around the subject and searching in advance for the consequences of his actions. In the same way as the woman procreates a child, the man attempts in his activities to create, reproduce nature and build up. He protects (surrounds as a circle) the woman. Hence the difference in forces.
A woman uses and brings out values. She needs protection ( = wants to be surrounded), not only because of her supposed weakness, although a few men need protection too, in the childhood, for example from their mother, what is temporary, but if this need lasts in them they replace their mother by their wife.
This description could be developed in all details by someone having more talent.
Obviously, one should not exaggerate too much, based exclusively on the directive idea resulting from geometry. It remains however that human beings are essentially BINARY and INCOMPLETE in their solitude. They are complete only as members of the human species when both sexes cooperate and collaborate with one another.
One may think that the significant constant attraction of one to the other is the indispensable motor for development and activity. If it did not exist there would not be any difference between men and animals. These do not require any mental complementarity. Have they any complementarity? How can we discover it ?
Development of the main hand
One can reasonably assume that development of the hand reinforces the characteristics of the brain considered and that non-development or reversed development of the hand, i.e. development of the secondary hand instead of the main hand, weakens the dynamic characteristics which are necessary to permit the activity, feelings and form of reasoning which correspond to said sex. Nature is generous enough but does not waste actually and gives only what is specific to such and such situation.
Compensation for the fact that we have only one sort of the two (active) reasonings is the presence of two half-brains (hemispheres), one being probably conscious or active and the other unconscious or inactive. In human beings it is the more true because their nature wants to maintain them dissymmetrical.
In animals we do not know what happens, but what urges men to modify their fate and unfortunately the surrounding nature excessively, is truly their lack of symmetry which always forces them to tip over to one side and act.
An animal (let us say, a mammal) on the four legs can only go forward; the lateral weight will not probably urge him to deviate and the forms of male and female are present only to ensure procreation. There is no affective attachment.
The top in men is the head, in animals it is the back all along and the bottom in men corresponds to the belly in animals. The head in animals is the front part while their sex is on the rear. The points of view are therefore completely different.
Gravity acts upon the man in the standing position to vertically shrink and horizontally widen him as he becomes older; therefore, frequently one gets thicker.
In youth boys and girls are alike in volume and then differentiate by different forms amplified by physiology in the adolescence, very quickly. Thereafter, evolutionary change of forms stops or stabilizes at the adult age and at old age when procreation terminates, both sexes resemble again.
Do the psychological, mental and dynamic differences as observed during active life shade off at the end of life ? There is much chance for the common anatomic evolution to provoke new resemblance as in childhood.
Perennity of the natural mental and dynamic characteristics as distinct in men and women can be understood only if the innate laterality is respected. In the event that there is reversal of the main hand the conditions are not the same.
This is only the fact of using the right hand instead of the left.
Development of the secondary hand instead of the first
(reversed laterality)
If one admits the mental and physical differences between both sexes the development of a secondary hand instead of a main hand will cause in men a development as a point and in women a development as a circle in the central upper part (reasoning, voice, character).
Men become intuitive (= penetrating) more than normally and women reason much more by adding the elements and seizing their mutual connections rather than in the usual way, i.e. by trusting their capacity of immediate penetration.
A shift of frequencies in the VOICE may then occur to lower ones in the woman’s voice and a shift to higher ones in the man, but it is not the general case.
What is significant to consider the voice as normal is that, from both combined (stable and variable) levels characterizing the voice, the stable level should be upstairs (women) or downstairs (men).
In well lateralized people the voice of man is broad and low and the voice of woman is narrow and high. As the voice of women is a transmitter (male), narrow with high frequencies, it is quicker (shorter wavelength) and the contrary is true with the male who has a broader voice (receiver), hence slower with lower frequencies (longer wavelengths).
Various consequences of the reversal
Through a visual test one can see whether the individual is left-hander or right-hander and by listening to the voice, reversal of laterality is perceived.
The auditive test by listening to the voice is easy and anyone can use it (see chapter 9).
Since no real right-hander will use the left hand, only left-handers might be reversed. The fact of imagining that someone be reversed as regards laterality, without being informed of this situation, is a neglected concept. Obviously reversed right-handers may exist in case of accidents (amputation).
Before, nobody ever admitted that a “right-hander” might sometimes not be righthanded at birth according to natural laws, since it does not appear that one knows what laterality is and even wants to know or considers it to be important.
All of the above tries to specify the details of laterality. It is to be noted that until now the only tests, used for detecting the laterality, observe hand and feet, which is a source of errors since a non-activated member cannot show that it is dominant or not.
Hence, the great significance of a test that is not based on the hand and the foot and independent of the manual activity and the knowledge of being observed.
If there is reversal one can detect the voice difference as soon as the writing is effected by the right hand instead of the left hand (which would be the first), thereby showing that the written culture amounts to a large percentage of human activity and individual development.
Sometimes people say : ”The writing by either hand has no importance as I write little or nearly never (I type on the computer)”. The significance of the writing relates to the connections in the brain that were created by apprenticeship. They are eternal in the brain and react constantly : any intellectual action passes therethrough. Moreover, the capacity of writing with one hand is not lost by the addition of the capacity of writing with the other hand.
The ear test obviously has no problem with television (obviously the dubbing of actors is noxious) as it means careful watching of sounds. The visual test pre-supposes particular sensitivity to be able to “transmit” to a body part and detect the “radiation” by testing specific reaction of spots in one’s own eyes.
If there would be reversal of the normal “directive” members (laterality reversal) consequences of the reversal have repercussion on the central parts which comprise the head, the neck, the torso (liver and heart, stomach, intestines, in the inside) and the sex.
The reversal, according to what is generally said, can concern the arm and the hand, and the eye, but not forcibly the leg and the foot. This is illogical since there is a common synchronized control of the members in the brain. This abnormal situation would actually happen in the so-called frustrated left-handers above all because of sport.
Honestly, the consequences of the reversal are of the order of the mental, psychological and physical equilibrium of the individual. It is also normal that troubles or disorders should be created.
In conclusion reversal of laterality would cause artificial creation of an individual who is entirely “male” or entirely “female” but this is contrary to the nature of human beings. In fact, the lower point is conjugated to an artificially created upper point and the lower circle is conjugated to an upper circle.
A consequence, visible enough, of the laterality reversal, which would give men two pointed forms upstairs and downstairs, and women two circle forms upstairs and downstairs, is the apparent body volume.
With reversed women there is a majority of slim persons and with reversed men many people have a tendency to become fat. At first sight, the confirmation of the existence of slim women and fat men is contrary to what was to be assumed above (two points = small volume and two circles = greater volume), I have to admit, but this is the case in Europe.
Generally, whatever be the development of their laterality we must admit that lefthanded men have a tendency to become fatter and lefthanded women to remain slim.
Of course, among the reversed women are scared to become fat (anorexy) and men eat more (tendency to become obese) to increase energy or remedy their lack of self-confidence.

5. Influence of handedness on elocutions
5. Influence of laterality upon normal
and abnormal elocutions
Humans speak (express themselves by sounds) in a more varied manner than most animals. This careful elocution results from the organs used but it is also based primarily on the control residing in the brain. Why under these conditions some people have difficulties to speak clearly whereas most of them obtain a good elocution without too many efforts?
Is their brain deficient? Very likely not, in most cases.
Difficulties encountered
There are troubles in the rhythm of speech which cause spluttering or stuttering, errors of placement of the voice in respect to the height of the sounds, too high or too low a voice in view of the sex concerned and reversal of syllables (dyslexy) or simply, suppression of syllables.
They have attempted to remedy these inconveniences of social life by various psychological treatments and applied exercises. The results are sometimes good but sometimes disappointing.
Among the difficulties noted we can consider particularly what is called dyslexy which is a difficulty to read and write and express oneself verbally. In all cases people insist on the fact that these children (adults?) are smart, normally or abnormally, as though such observation was sufficient to provide compensation for not being able to enter the usually easy normality of verbal expression.
The genial Dr Alfred TOMATIS (1920-2001) fascinated by the mysteries of hearing therefore a specialist of auditive disturbances has invented a method to treat various defectuosities of the ears and the elocution and language troubles by studying the frequencies specific to each language and by re-educating the ears of the patients. He tried mainly to stimulate the “directive” ear which he tried locate particularly on the right and used a suitable apparatus which gives unhoped-for results in certain cases.
In respect to the ears it was seen that they belong to the internal sectors such as both hemispheres of the brain. It results if one believes the present theory implying four sectors of alternate polarities and contrary to what is believed ordinarily thvat in men right-handers the right ear is controlled by the right hemisphere (the secondary one, of the narrow type) whereas the right hand is controlled by the left hemisphere (the directive one, of the broad type) where the center of language is supposed to lie. There would not be any slanted control for the ear as is the case with the hand due to the fact that it is in direct line (same sector) with the hemisphere thereby differing from the eye and the members.
And vice versa for the left ear in the given example. Language therefore is not so simple and seems to proceed from both hemispheres anyhow.
We are going to treat the elocution problems in a theoretical, different manner as compared to what was done previously, not because all these annoyances could be corrected in a single manner, but rather because we take up the position of someone who would be bold enough to understand what the elocution is and how the way of expressing oneself by the speech develops.
Certain hypotheses developed above are somehow repeated here to explain as clearly as possible the elocution mechanism by means of the voice.
The members, arms and legs, are provided to act and particularly to execute a work.
The center is made to think (head), to speak (mouth, neck and throat), to eat (mouth), to breathe (lungs), to digest (stomach) and to eject (intestines) and for copulation and reproduction (sex), whereas the internal organs ensure the indispensable functions of life.
The double central line has therefore specific functions. In particular, it is observed with no surprise that the voice, its pitch, its quality, its basic frequencies reflect distinct characteristics of both sexes. There are thus male, female voices, falsetto voices, women voices that are taken for men’s voices and a few voices making one think of the “homosexual”.
A previous remark without prejudice shows that men have a global aspect resembling a triangle having wide dimensions upstairs and narrow dimensions downstairs whereas women are narrow upstairs and wide downstairs.
Does this remark result in any consequences as regards the characteristics of the voice?
If one tries to characterize it, it appears that it is acute therefore narrow in women (high frequencies, wavelength of small value) and that it is deep therefore broad in men (lower frequencies, greater wavelength). Therefore there is similarity between the form of the upper part and the voice in both sexes.
If the voice is acute it is penetrating, so that it is a transmitter (= male) and if it is wide it wraps up, therefore it is a receiver (= female).
Hence, why not taking into account this form to characterize the form of the intelligence (located UPSTAIRS) which would be of the same kind?
We are helped here by the philosophers and the thinkers: they speak of a feminine intelligence of the intuitive form, i.e. penetrating, whereas the masculine intelligence would be “synthetic” because it envelops, gathers and is wide. The man “wraps up” mentally.
If one accepts that the intelligences of both sexes are different because they are complementary, both as regards the thoughts in general and the sensations and sexual functions, in particular, such logical hypothesis, resulting from the global form and deduced from a banal observation without pretension, would then permit to explain a lot of functions.
The words “intuition” and “synthesis” as used to qualify the intelligences were treated until now by authors without referring to any symbolism referring to geometry, in a purely figurative manner since this is the most enigmatic and unseizable faculty.
Moreover, since we believe that men and women are equal, which is more than obvious, they do not dare to say that the intelligences are different and if we dare do it it is only by testing students in respect to exercises in which one or the other succeed or not. Actually each human being is very pretentious and thinks that he is in himself a perfect and perfect circle, which is not true.
If such complementary capacities were absent, the couples would constantly quarrel, due to the one searching to overlap the other’s domain, because the would treat these domains in the same manner.
One can then admit and understand that the one holds one end of a “stick” and the other the opposite end.
Forms of voices depending on the respective sex
How can these hypotheses be used to analyze or understand elocution?
Due to its “male” characteristic the voice of women penetrates more and because of the narrowness and its transmitter characteristics has a greater speed than the voice of men. Who can compete with women as regards the speed of elocution?
If one moves a little further in this way it appears that, as the form of the voice and the geometry of the intelligence are correlated according to what was assumed, due to the distinct global form mentioned above, one can admit that women have a penetrating and narrow “intelligence” with a rapid voice while men have a “wide”, assembling intelligence of synthesization type with a slow voice.
The characteristics of forms of the thought and the speaking mean condition those of the voice.
Since the intelligence which is different as a function of the sex, has the consequence among others of modelling and controlling a voice specific to the sex, why can deficiencies occur? At first sight if one lets aside the exceptional anatomic errors that may exist in certain individuals, it would mean that if it does not function correctly, it is because the natural forms of intelligence or control of the vocal organs were altered and no longer correspond to what Nature desires, Nature being perfect as anyone knows.
Development of the specific characteristics of the voices
How are developed the intelligence and the voice corresponding to the sex? One may assume that this occurs by the development of the MAIN hand which would be “feminine” for women and “masculine” for men. One may therefore assume that at birth we benefit from a main hand which would correspond to the respective sex and that one chooses it later on without any error but this is not always realized.
Therefore for the same individual there is a “male” hand as well as a “female” hand.
CAUSE OF THE STUTTERING
If the main hand at birth is used all corresponds perfectly but if by chance the secondary hand is chosen or developed instead of the main hand provided for at birth, don’t we create the vocal and intellectual characteristics of the other sex? This reversal can actually occur due to the social pressure exerted by a majority of individuals, an education not well understood, influences at a very early age, the absence of one of the parents and other causes in particular the ignorance of what is in fact laterality.
Moreover, this situation can happen generally only in the case the right hand is used instead of the left when one is left-handed at birth. The only possible cause of the use of the left hand for a right-hander would be an accident or an amputation.
If there is reversal it is reflected on the voice but how? A voice can appear “normal” in pitch and speed but may not correspond to the form of elocution and the place of execution (level) intended for the speech.
If there is rhythm trouble, spluttering or stuttering, one can easily suspect reversed development of the main hand.
If this is so, stuttering in a boy happens because the intuitive intelligence, which generally belongs to women and was developed by the right (second) hand instead of the left provided for at birth, is then quicker than the possible (smaller) speed of elocution provided for in the wide organs of speech (including ears) specific to the male.
The intention to speak and the control of the speech are therefore too quick ; there are more tentatives to speak than is necessary and the words are piling up : “He can’t get his words out fast enough” because the organ entrance is cluttered up by too multiple attempts. Therefore speed and rhythm are very pertinent here.
The intelligence of the stutterer is not deficient generally; it is the speed, too high, of this non adequate sort of intelligence and the slowness of the speech realization organs as provided for in the male, which do not permit to produce the usual, normal voice.
In girls it is not at all the same, since the wide form of intelligence as developed by the right (second) hand, following said wrong decision of development, is slower; therefore the speech organs can follow up, since who can do more can also do less. There are sometimes speech troubles in girls but this is a sort of spluttering, rather than stuttering. It is an undue tentative prolongation of syllables: yes, er, OK, er.
Summarizing,
-the stuttering in boys is produced because an “acute”, therefore too quick, control acts upon wide organs unable to follow;
-the spluttering in girls is produced because a wide control acts upon the “pointed” (narrow) too quick organs which wait too much.
How to detect the reversal of the main hand
How to detect, apart from obvious cases of elocution difficulties in an individual having a normal voice, whether there is reversal of laterality (the hand).
We have to deal here with the work of the upper lip and the lower lip. Both of them do not produce sounds in the same manner but cooperate to obtain two elocutions of differing characteristics.
During production of words both operate but differently: in each individual there are a level showing a continuous characteristic and a level having a variable or alternative characteristic. With experience one can “follow” the continuous level but the variable level is followed only with difficulty. Voice results from the two levels.
In particular, women have a continuous level of elocution based on consonants (upstairs) and men on vowels (downstairs) if they are well lateralized. Here is the great difference between the elocution forms developed by each sex (see chapter 9).
Consonants are produced by the upper lip and vowels by the lower lip, as regards the stable or continuous level of speech which is the only interesting one as regards the test. Upon listening to a series of words, if we want to detect laterality we have to concentrate only on the vowels or only on the consonants. With little practice we can detect whether the continuous, stable and quiet level is consonantal (upstairs) or vocalic (downstairs).
If there is reversal it is indeed true and very significant that the cause of any stuttering is the difference between the configuration of the intellectual control device (whether narrow or broad) and the configuration of the speech organs (whether broad or narrow) which results in differences of speeds.
The brains are similar, whether we stutter or not, but most reversed do not stutter because they have better adaptation in respect to stresses.
Moreover, both hemispheres cooperate more or less at the level of the ear.
Consequences of the reversal
What is the utility of this test? If there is stuttering it is more than beneficial to search for a remedy but above all the reversal has various negative consequences upon the central double part of the human body : voice, stomach, heart, liver, sex, back and so on, which will not be studied in this chapter.
It is to be noted that the only reversal of the writing (left-hand at birth for the manual work and right hand for the writing) is detected through the existence of a continuous consonantal level in men and a continuous vocalic level in women, in the voice, as if the reversal was 100% complete.
This is because the writing and the intellectual culture supported thereby have an enormous influence, which in percentage of mental activity, may probably reach 60%, in a culture having activities based on abstraction as is the European one.
Any suspicion of reversal in a man is often based on the existence of a nasal, multiple (non unitary) or cavernous voice. The “multiple” voice belongs above all to the right-hand writer.
Remedy to the stuttering
and abnormal elocutions

Remedy to the stuttering
Can a reversed individual who has troubled elocution be re-developed suitably by reversing all his manual habits? This is indispensable and possible even for an adult since an adult can “correctly” re-lateralize himself at that age. The results of the efforts made will be fast enough and will encourage him to continue. Benefits produced by this method are guaranteed.
The writing should be included at all price in the re-lateralization but the writing is not easy since one has to change hand but in addition change the direction of the writing movement (movement to the inside instead of movement to the outside).
The direction of writing is the only reason for which certain young left-handers attempt first to write as in a mirror, trying to copy the right-handers in their movement to the outside, but curiously enough nobody seems to have understood such reason, which is however obvious. In fact, it seems as if the child should perceive more the direction of movement than the fact of faithfully reproducing what he sees and tries to copy. The simple copying is for him less significant than following the general movement, whether external or internal.
In order to carry out the step of regular writing by the left hand, so as to be understood by third parties and used in the current life (signature), one might perhaps practice by making the simple attempt of writing with the right hand to the inside, therefore either upside down or as in a mirror. This permits to experiment practically and skilfully what an inside movement is, as compared to an external movement. This preliminary period has probably some virtue.
The person who stutters is strictly encouraged to learn again how to write with the other hand, if he wants to be completely relieved.
Maybe he will be ashamed to do so, thereby indicating that he was more or less influenced, consciously or not.
Such re-education can only be solitary even if one is helped by specialists, and he has to control himself strictly. Mastering the breathing is good but not sufficient.
Starting with the writing is gaining time since this is the most difficult exercise. The other movements: manual work consisting of pushing-in nails or screwing, launching pebbles, cutting, shearing off are much easier. Cutting with a pair of scissors is not easy but it is the manufacturer’s fault because he designed them only for the right hand, the left hand being tortured by acute edges. It is better anyhow to use this kind of scissors rather than the pair especially designed for the left hand which makes you out to be handicapped,
To avoid making this text too long I shall not go into detail on the other consequences of the reversal related to the stuttering. With the boy there will be shyness all his life whereas with the girl it is the opposite: generally she has a lot of nerve but thinks sometimes that she is shy, which is not true. This false shyness is actually aggressivity and too much initiative with the other sex. But is this bold character not a kind of shyness since this is not “normal” (usual) with women?
Stutterers are always shy even if they speak a little better after desperate efforts for controlling elocution.
A remarkable example of absence of stuttering for a stutterer is learning and practicing a foreign language with a good pronunciation. This happy situation results from a readjustment between the bilingual thought, which is not in the same place in the brain as the maternal language, and the elocution. Moreover, one may assume that the brain has more work to do which permits to slow it down and let the “slow” speech organs work more slowly.
Stuttering therefore results from multiplied, elocution (speech) tentatives by means of too slow organs: the control thought is quicker than the speaking action.
In the case of spluttering the thought is slower than the speaking action.
Neuro-anatomy teaches that the center of speech lies in the left-hand hemisphere for most humans but that the right-hand hemisphere or even both of them sometimes may be provided with such center.
We may assume that the reversed or frustrated who do not stutter have several possible centers of speech which are confirmed or not during life.
The stutterers would then have one center and could not develop the second auxiliary center of speech for unknown reasons. Fortunately a majority of the stutterers do not stutter all their life since the stuttering phenomena are generally surmountable in a more or less conscious manner by other control means which are of various efficiencies.
6.Heterosexuals and homosexuals
6. Heterosexuals and homosexuals
Attraction between complementary or similar people
Previously we proposed the hypothesis that a man with reversed laterality is functionally a man both upstairs and downstairs, whereas a woman under the same conditions is woman both upstairs and downstairs.
What is considered a man geometrically is the narrow, therefore penetrating form, and what is considered a woman is the wide, therefore enveloping form, all of this description being based on the configuration of the sex.
Therefore, what is missing with reversed people is one of the two possible forms so that they are not triangular but rather rectangular. The normally lateralized people have both different forms (wide and narrow), thereby making them paradoxically more masculine or feminine as a function of their SEX, which latter is very apparent, contrary to laterality.
In fact, we could expect men to be narrow upstairs and downstairs and women wide upstairs and downstairs but Nature wants each to comprise both forms, obviously at a different level.
What is the utility of these two different lateralities ?
The utility of such natural characteristics cannot be seen clearly since it is not practical to absorb such difference in the everyday life. It would be more advantageous that human beings although substantially dissymmetric by nature should be distributed on one or the other side equally among both lateralities in the same manner as we note the existence of about the same number of individuals of either sex among humans.
For the procreation this 50% distribution of each sex is necessary, each having his mate, but as regards laterality it is not necessary at first sight to have as many right-handers as left-handers.
What is appropriate however, I am quite sure, is to have as many women as men in each category. Why ? Because it is probable if not certain that they have affinities or even that they are complementary in the same group.
There are as many women as men in each laterality category, I am quite sure, whereas “officially” there are less lefthanded women. In fact, there are more reversed women than men because of their mental resilience or their little interest for manual force works, and because of what people say.
Therefore, since there are probably as many men (4% difference ?) as women in the same category we can perhaps think that they are made up to mate regularly and preferably (?).
Do they mate also with the other group ? This is a significant point but we cannot decide by saying that men and women are mutually intended for matching up, only because their anatomies are complementary.
In fact very probably the anatomies are not the only cause. Stating that laterality has nothing to do with the success of the complementary relationships between sexes is very imprudent.
Hypotheses on the proportions of the two lateralities
Again we propose to risk a hypothesis on the reason of unequal proportion of right-handers and left-handers. First there are probably more reversed, refused or frustrated (the writing) left-handers than complete or integral left-handers. The total must assumingly turn around 40% left-handers and 60% right-handers, at birth. A round symbolic number would be one individual out of three, i.e. 33%.
Why such difference if there are as many women as men in Humanity ?
This difference is not of the same order : the lefthanded girls are not married with the righthanded boys, on the one hand, and on the other hand, the lefthanded boys and the righthanded girls in a natural and obligatory manner. Therefore both categories can be in different numbers.
Physical and mental characteristics of the reversed
Let us now examine the mental and physical characteristics of the REVERSED of both sexes. It appears that the reversal of the active hand has the result of developing the active mental characteristics (form of intelligence) of the other sex.
The mental characteristics designed for the concerned sex do exist obviously but they are wild, unconscious and not developed.
The active mental characteristics of the reversed are in the state in which the mental characteristics of the second side of a well lateralized individual are, i.e. they have a different form because they are opposed with respect to those, normally active, of a well lateralized individual.
This can only be admitted if one discovers TWO FORMS of intelligence and innate tendencies permitting to arrive at the particular physical and mental activities specific to each sex. Proofs of such difference are many.
(For someone passing from the right (intuition) to the left (synthesis) hand, who experienced both developments successively, this is obvious)
The existence of two forms of intelligence is moreover more or less accepted, when it is referred to the right hemisphere of the brain and the left hemisphere, by attributing features to them, more or less hazily, in an absolute manner, without referring to the laterality (the right hemisphere being “digital” and the left “analogical”). See the list in chapter 1.
Two intelligences
The fact that either one of the two intelligences is intuitive (reversed man) or synthesizing (reversed woman) means that the individual bases himself on this particular form when he takes a decision. If not, he is not confident to have taken the right decision. The other form of thought exists but is secondary in the same individual.
What about the lower part of the body ? Is it also reversed ? Nature intends to act upon the members of the same side with the help of the same control means. But if this lower part is developed by walking, not by playing football, for instance, or running or dancing (educative or sportive specializations on one side only which would not be dominant) we cannot see how there would be a reversal of the lower section, and also the characteristics of the sex.
WHERE DOES HOMOSEXUALITY COME FROM ?
Upon examining the laterality reversed persons we note in certain members of this category a reversal of the intelligence form which makes one suspect homosexuality ( triangle and rectangle).
As there is reversal of the form of the thought (intuition and synthesis) one might think that also a reversal of the mental sex may exist, this being an attractive hypothesis according to elementary logic.
In fact, all declared homosexuals (they say then that they are homos !) who can be observed more or less in detail from the television or listened to on the radio and elsewhere in life, respond to the mentioned tests (voice and eye) as being LATERALITY REVERSED.
According to these tests none of them is either righthanded at birth or complete left-hander. Therefore they are reversed in a certain proportion.
A priori, it would be tempting to think that reversal of the form of intelligence and therefore of the mental sex should often produce inverted people (homos).
However in order for this to be the fundamental cause of such situation, we have logically to admit that there are left-handers at birth who ignore their characteristics and therefore have used the right hand from a very early age. As a matter of fact, they say that homosexuality is their nature. This means that reversal was subconscious, and if not, forgotten.
Main cause of homosexuality
Thus, it appears that the main CAUSE of the homosexuality (to be completed by secondary causes), which is searched for in complicated combinations, is merely the reversal of laterality. There are of course complementary causes ; otherwise all 100% reversed individuals would be homosexual. Circumstances and free decision will also matter.
This hypothesis can only be accepted as suggested above only if it is admitted that one can believe himself to be righthanded all his life whereas actually he was born left-hander by nature.
Ignorance of the actual laterality at birth is apparently common since people do not know how to detect it : in best cases laterality appears with the development of the first hand, but do we develop the first natural hand in all cases ? It is more than probable that it is not so in many cases.
Why should homosexuality be caused by the reversal ?
Years were necessary for me to understand why this is so, because among others we come up against the fact that complementarity would be the norm to obtain attraction between individuals, as was always believed.
It would then be impossible to be attracted by someone resembling a given individual, who possesses the same sexual tools as the other.
(A woman attracts man, the magnet of one sort attracts the magnet of the other sort, and the like).
In fact, if one admits that only the reversed individuals, and more than that, belonging to the same type of laterality, and similar for the anatomy, intelligence, the form of voice and probably the tastes, generally are attracted to one another, one should also admit that similar people are attracted by each other. The hypothesis which bases homosexuality on the reversal of the hand is however obvious in the first place because at the outset this is a mental reversal, therefore a reversal of the form of intelligence.
If true right-handers and somehow twisted left-handers were attracted mutually, one would find there a very slight difference to justify the universal law of complementarities. But they are not attracted to one another !
Apart from physical, genetic or other anomalies, or exceptional circumstances, I cannot see how a normal (male) right-hander or a normal (female) right-hander would have taste (desire) for his own sex. On the contrary, the more developed their laterality (with the age, notably) the more indifference they have to their own sex, and the more attraction to the other sex.
Therefore one has to search elsewhere but without having recourse to dissections of brains to find the truth therein.
The brain of a scientist such as Einstein (a hetero, also lefthanded in what proportion ? and ambidextrous = writing with the right hand ?) or of certain homos were apparently autopsied.
This is of little significance : the brain of Einstein would have presented certain well distinctive parts that were more developed than normality and therefore would show that he was very gifted for mathematics and physics. Is this innate or developed by practice?
Similarly, with homos, very distinct and specialized elements of the brain would be developed less than such elements in the men called normal, or in a more similar manner as compared to these elements present in women. (Anyhow, why elements similar to those of women ? Are they sorts of women ?). Consequently, would the observed distinct development be the cause searched for ?
We can reply with very good sense that the development by the mathematics (or the presence of homosexuality later) of a very malleable child’s brain would probably have the consequence of showing therein what the scientists have observed on these brains. There is no use searching for a genetical element or an extraordinary circumstance at birth, unless of course rare anatomic exceptions occurred.
Can we explain the attraction mechanism with similar sexes ?
Homos usually say : this is my nature, I can’t help it, I have to follow my nature.
This corresponds very well to the situation as described above of a child who became hand–reversed for various causes, which belong to parents and society at a very early age, and the episodes of which he forgot. As a matter of fact, the more he acts the more he reinforces his tendency to homosexuality due to the very reversal of the hand since he is developing the other of the two intelligences.
That these situations are as old as civilizations does not mean that the explanation is false. It means only that detection of the laterality is not obvious as is the case without ambiguity with the sex. Progress in the knowledge of the laterality is not superfluous : it is a necessity !
Plausible enough explanation of the cause of the attraction
The explanation I am giving now to admit the reality of an attraction is the following : due to the fact that they are too “male” or “female” (entirely narrow or wide = rectangles instead of both forms = triangles), the passive, quiet and subconscious image of the other sex as generated by the actions of the other type does not exist in them, contrary to what occurs with well lateralized people.
Therefore they can only dream (slow maturation and absence) of what they know, namely, their own sex and consequently are attracted thereby fundamentally. Hence, narcissism.
THEY DON’T MISS the other sex since they possess both the undeveloped mental characteristics corresponding to what is required for their own sex (therefore passive or ignored characteristics) and the mental developed characteristics of the other sex. They have the same respective form upstairs and downstairs : they are rectangles, not triangles. That they turn or not to homosexuality depends on the family, education and the circumstances of life and various and complex causes.
With reversed people, the more they act with the second hand (the older they grow) the more narcissistic they are since they have the image of their own sex only (twice “wide” or twice “narrow”, respectively in vertical).
As a matter of fact, if both men are “feminine” or both women are “masculine” why should they be attracted to one another ? They are attracted by “humans” but the only humans they know, i.e. their own sex.
What puzzles the researcher is to note that a few left-handers apparently lateralized according to what is seen of their writing in films (actors such as Rock Hudson and Anthony Perkins) were (also) bi- or homosexual.
In what proportion were they lateralized ? How were they treated as left-handers ? Were they ashamed ? Did they make them believe that they were abnormal ? Did they make they believe that they were not “righthanded” whereas everybody is, on the right or the left side ? What additional causes were provided to them ? Did they make them believe that lefthandedness is an innate defect ?!
Perkins married later on and had two sons.
Although one of the preceding paragraphs states that no right-hander or well lateralized left-hander can have any attraction to one’s own sex there are always some exceptions for various reasons.
“Normal” heterosexual, reversed people
(Most reversed people mate normally and are not homos, at least consciously. They make couples in the form of two individuals of the same type of laterality (= left-handers).
This mating happens in the same manner as for the righthanded who on their side prefer to mate together and would understand each other better (?) (those who assemble are similar) or because there is a natural and structural law in this direction (creation of couples of the same laterality).
It is to be noted that such attraction between the individuals in couples of the same laterality is unconscious but general. It is sufficient to see what occurs in known couples (actors, politicians, TV stars).
As regards the reversed, it is normal that only couples of reversed persons are stable, because no well lateralized individual feels totally comfortable with someone who is not, as regards the form of intelligence, in particular. That the woman wears the trousers in their house does not disturb a badly lateralized individual but this is not the case with someone well lateralized.
A so formed relationship between reversed and right-hander would not last. It might exist for temporary anatomic and sexual reasons but would not produce any ideal relation of the husband’s type.
“Frustrated” left-handers of both sexes
During childhood at school a child is above all urged to write with the right hand while he is more or less conscious that his natural hand is on the left. At an early age one is not really acquainted with oneself. Sometimes a few have been forced.
Having reached the adult age they are proud to be like the others since they are not noticed when they write. They have despised the essence of their inner being and this seems to be unrecoverable.
In life they are obviously more active than the others and often are successful. Sometimes they are show men due to the fact that they play a role in life.
Generally they are not homos. They search for the woman (or the women) who in principle should be developed in the same degree as them but they ignore that such equal development is significant in the equilibrium of the couple.
Men do not search a lot since the frustrated or reversed they meet, apparently righthanded, take the initiative. If they have physical or other assets they accept and since this is easy they are dons Juans (or donas Juanas). They are forcibly unstable as they do not find those they should search for and because they are solicited.
Women of this type are also very active and succeed in commercial activities or arts since they have certain qualities called “masculine”. After many lovers (or contrarily, few) they often live very diplomated, or alone because they survive the men or the latter leave them due to the dominating character of such persons.
Finally, the frustrated distinguish from the reversed only because they KNOW who they are.
Conflicts occurring between differently developed left-handers in couples
Conflicts occur as a function of the encroachment upon the one’s activity with respect to the other’s instead of the addition of two activities.
Consequently, it is better for both to be reversed or frustrated since if the woman leads the shy man will follow without it being any other result than the creation of a stable couple due to its complementarity. Only from the outside do we think that this is abnormal.
Another source of conflict derives from the difference in culture : a writing moving to the inside (integral left-hander in the Occident) does not develop the same characteristics of thought than a writing moving to the outside realized by someone writing with the right hand whether he is reversed or not.
We may also remark that the right-hander’s behaviour in respect to the marriage is different from the left-hander’s (the integral left-hander, obviously) due to the difference in culture resulting from the writing (for instance, the Latin writing, in Europe).
In the writing we start from the one hand (the first or the second hand) to pass in front of both centers and reach the other hand (the second or the first hand).
These four zones have each one of the two “polarities” alternately.
Therefore we have for example : men, women, men, women, or the opposite, depending on the directions of the writings. Contact of the “men” hand with the “men” or “women” zone permits specific development or connection, respectively.
In the case of the right-hander we have successively in the writing : development of women, relationships with the idea of a masculine chief or God, sexual and other relationships with women and development of men. The relationships with women intervene only after their development and after the idea of relationship with God. The specific situation of women also corresponds to this image.
There results an idea of equality and monogamy.
In the case of the integral left-hander we have : development of men, sexual and other relationships with women, relationships with the masculine chief and God and development of women. The relationships with women intervene immediately after development of men, thereby hardly implying any idea of exclusivity but rather exchanges or multiple tests before engagement. There is obviously an idea of equality since both can do the same thing.
However such difference does concern the (intuitive or synthesizing) “form” of the mental and if the couple is well lateralized, therefore complementary, the difference constitutes rather an enrichment, but we must accept with interest and patience a degree of mutual misunderstanding, which also exists in the case of two nationalities and has its spell.
The misunderstanding (because of the writing) does not imply however mental or sexual encroachment of either one with respect to the other but can explain particular situations.
Mechanism of sexual attraction of the homos
In fact what is the type of the socalled “sexual” attraction with
homos ? We can only limit ourselves to make hypotheses. With the so-called “normal” people reciprocal attractions of the members (the eyes belonging to them) to the sexes urge the latter so as to provoke a sex to sex union. Therefore there are at least two steps : members toward sex, with subsidiarily capture of the narrow part of the torso by the members and sex into sex.
The homos regularly of the same laterality are situated face to face with members which as regards “polarity” complete each other reciprocally and therefore with sexes which are attracted to each other but in a “passive” manner, i.e. not as though external parts (members) intended to direct themselves toward the central parts (sexes) but from members to members and from sex to sex. As the sexes are not anatomically complementary the only recipe found at least for men to obtain a sort of fusion is sodomisation.
However there is no sexual fusion proper since the penetration obtained is only a contact between a sex and a member because the elements of the buttocks do not belong to the sex but rather to the “members” (legs, arms). Therefore, sexes are introduced into members (masturbation).
When the search started it could be thought that the attraction face to face between man and woman of different lateralities i.e. a righthanded man and a lefthanded woman or a lefthanded man and a righthanded woman was perhaps ideal, since these elements being face to face fit into one another, as regards contrary polarities, therefore are attracted mutually, but we understood quickly that it was not, as it could be only a kind of fascination without the necessary dynamic movement of accomplishment of a fusion.
The best proof is that, in the case of different polarities, the attempt of seducing by words does not succeed or succeeds very uneasily and is not “nourished”(only one speaks !).
In the contrary case of a couple with the same laterality, conversation starts very easily and develops by itself.
We can say that the voice seems to reflect the sexuality, hence the well known attraction radiated by singers.
Here is another remark concerning the mating of individuals of different lateralities : this does not seem to be the mating norm for the additional motive that there are less individuals of one sort (left-handers) than of the other (right-handers)
Nature however makes it as a rule that as many males and females are available in the human species (smart measure) thereby contradicting polygamy and polyandry.
Description of the homosexuality in both sexes
Let us return to the homos of one or the other sex : the sexual “relationship” does not exist : there is only a relationship of sex to members (sodomization, dildos, and so on). Therefore one should rather speak of homophilia nourished by masturbatory processes.
The mental and affective union cannot be denied but the notion of total, mental and physical complementarity resulting from different sex and mental characteristics cannot exist since they do not possess the other sex in the latent state whereby, as a consequence, the other sex is too far away to attract them. If not, its absence would be felt as a painful emptiness to be remedied or as the necessity of a constant search for the other sex.
Therefore we have assumed that in them the attraction between similar individuals exists because of the absence in themselves of the dynamic mental image of the other sex.
A homosexual relationship between a well lateralized man (woman) and a reversed man (woman), therefore not correctly lateralized, would have a theoretical chance of producing a mental complementarity, but apart from exceptional circumstances of isolation, what could urge the first to be interested in an individual of its own sex ? He or she, as a well lateralized person, does not feel any attraction to such individual.
Occupations of reversed hetero- and homosexuals
The taste for figurative activities therefore often leads to the drafting of imaginative works, painting and above all comedy.
In the other artistic disciplines they also succeed because they are “original” due to the sensitivity, the form of thought and the tastes which are not of the implied sex. This makes a lot for obtaining success.
The homos who are the subject of interest in particular in the media can be recognized in some cases by their “mannered”, fragmented or “theater” voice.
The voice is obligatorily based on consonants but with nuances that one can describe only with difficulty. It seems that there is an “envelopment” seduction component therein (the one who plays the man ?), in addition to the consonantal basis, thereby producing a more or less stressed and recognizable mannered style, which is more or less voluntary.
The homos “couturiers” want to “envelop” women, due to their unconscious sublimation of the normal possibilities of men to seize, construct and wrap up (broad form). The artistic capacity results from such sublimation.
Women working in haute couture, who sometimes are homo, sublimate their “narrow” characteristic; they do not wrap up but select.
Actors and actresses in all countries are reversed lefthanded in a proportion of 90% of their number (or a few complete left-handers, with very few right-handers, especially in the movies). All their life they play a role and the more they act the more they need to play roles. In fact, since they develop the characteristics of the other sex they play all their life a role which is not their fundamental natural role.
All the “great” actors are reversed.
More and more there are complete left-handers in such speciality.
Curiously enough, many comics (Bourvil, Fernandel, de Funés) are well lateralized , especially those who are not scared to make people laugh at their expense in the role of an unskilful man. Their talent results from hard work. Essentially, since the reversed are very susceptible and always want to be reassured it appears to be normal for them to refuse to put up with severe mockery of themselves. They are not “strong” enough.
99% (100% ?) of voice imitators are reversed left-handers. As a matter of fact, the mental and voice of the “narrow” type they display with more or less personal satisfaction, serve them to “penetrate” the other’s personality in order to imitate. They are in the place of the other whom they “love” somehow. They cannot imitate certain types.
Furthermore, the teasing or mocking (a specialty of imitators) exerted on individuals of the same sex is a kind of disguised unconscious homosexuality. We can tease only those we like (love). The teasing is a disguised form of non admissible love (between brothers or generally between the same sexes).
Humorists having a quick, immediate, “lightning” reply are
reversed : we have here a “transmitter” voice and intelligence form, the need for which is sustained by approval and applauses. Many are don juans (sexual instability) or homos.
Reversed are also found as TV announcers (of both sexes) and TV journalists due to the fact that they frequently play a role. In the “news”, they frequently employ, in all countries even Japan, reversed women because they speak more slowly and reversed men because they speak more quickly so that a uniform speed is produced.
The groups of political men and women include a number of reversed because they are “idealists” and persons who try to influence, disturb or dominate others. It would be interesting to make a study on the dictators.
Effects of reversal on physical and mental health
Almost all those above are sexually “normal” i.e. the fact of being badly lateralized does not seem to modify their sexual equilibrium and their health.
However many do not overcome this situation intact. As a matter of fact the activity exerted by the members of an individual having a reversed laterality has almost always a repercussion that could be said undesirable upon the central part:
Head (frequent cephaleas), vertebral column, stomach (too much acidity with men and too little for women), intestines (alternately tightened or untightened), heart and liver, voice altered toward consonants (men) or vowels (women), (sometimes) stuttering elocution, excessive sensitivity (unhealthy shyness in men, excessive boldness in women), schizophrenia, anorexy, paranoia, and the like. Obviously, nobody suffers from all these inconveniences in the same time!
If the head is concerned, very often the presence of an intellectual fatigue provokes cephaleas, or there is no constance in the efforts (sawtooth activity). Frequent physical tiredness.
Preferentially, the reversed are independent and do not easily stand group tensions. The fact of having a mental development based on the faculties specific to the other sex produces a double personality which might evolve up to schizophrenia or nervous breakdown of various forms. They have both an innate personality, not developed, therefore bullied and exploding involuntarily (unexpected angers) and the personality imposed upon by practicing the second hand.
If there is a weakness in the eyes in particular imbalance in one eye as compared to the other, which is a frequent enough case, such weakness is reinforced.
The stomach produces in reversed men too much hydrochloric acid which may cause ulcers, and too little of such acid in women, thereby giving a heavy and slow digestion. It is amazing to observe that the same cause has contrary consequences in both sexes. This is one of the first annoyances and differences that were observed.
It is more than probable that there is a harmful influence on the heart, the liver and the intestines. In the latter there is instability, finding expression in a succession of constipations and diarrhoeas. No regular and stable behaviour of the intestine.
The lack of dynamism can lead to obesity to remedy absence of energy.
As to the sexual relations, due to the fact that the mental is reversed, wide in women and narrow in men, obviously there is inadapted behavior with respect to well lateralized individuals. Is it for this reason that reversed people mate ?
This is a reason, although I believe that the main one is purely structural, i.e. the same laterality searches for the same, even if all is normal for the above reasons.
Due to this, moreover, the complete left-handers have a problem since the choice of partners is truly great in these groups but the choice of partners lateralized like them is smaller if one estimates that the number of correctly lateralized left-handers does not go beyond 10% in the humans. It results that they have often the choice of partners who are more or less reversed.
Therefore, there is disagreement in the voices and intelligence characteristics of the two individuals considered, who are of the same type (either wide or narrow), as well as lack of complementarity in reasoning due to this cause thereby producing quarrels.
Since each partner unconsciously expects a marriage of the complementary type which he does not obtain and that his instinct requires, it is not surprising that some will be disappointed. If they already expect such situation it is easier for them to cope with it. As friendship generally persists life long, this is better tolerated when years have come.
A reversed woman, mated with a complete left-hander, can only decide by being contradicted. What disturbs her most is the sentence : ”Do as you like”. She feels abandoned. Immediate acquiescence throws her off balance because her “broad” mental faces a “broad” mental (not complementary but similar) which do not enter each other.
Seeking well lateralized partners of the other type (right-handers), would presumably not give stable relationships for the above reasons. In all events the proverb : ”Birds of a feather flock together” is constantly verified. It is not risky to say that this phenomenon is natural.
As regards sexuality obviously there is an agreement, since Nature provided for very strong securities which are not annulled by developments which are unsuitable in view of the laterality at birth. We can say all the same that reversal leads sometimes to a bisexual behaviour whether it is sudden or constant (for the reversed of course).
The back (spinal column) suffers from the reversal of laterality first for a mechanical reason since one uses the weaker hand and the side which is a naturally passive side but also because all the equilibrium of the vertebral column is compromised even though a deviation of the latter is not detected. How many back aches originate from the reversal ?
In a TV programme we have seen young and less young people affected with a sickness called “Gilles de la Tourette”, a nervous disturbance. This sickness shows movements of the nervous twitch type and involuntary speech eruptions of vulgar and repetitive type. All the young presented there were reversed (eye test). These phenomena resemble much to elocution troubles such as stuttering .
However we shall not say that all these sick people should suffer from reversal generally because this was probably a coincidence.
The reversed, especially women, are neurotically obsessed by excessive housework : dust must be removed before existing. Twitches are also recruited here.
The influence of the reversal upon the heart itself probably results in very common phenomena such as tachycardia and excessive blood pressure.
Correct laterality must certainly be respected so that better life conditions exist. The homosexuality, the followers of which, whether declared or not, conscious or not, are recruited only in the reversed category, shows if need be, that Nature has strict laws which cannot be disobeyed without consequences.
As a matter of fact, even if some believe that homosexuality is a very qualitative state and practice it remains that its followers are not satisfied in a basic way, since at a given moment, they search for adoption and fatherhood (motherhood), which can only be realized up to now, by true and complementary sexual relationships.
Due to attraction of individuals of different sexes within the same laterality there are practically two sex situations : a couple of the one laterality and a couple of the other laterality.
The homo couples (= pairs actually) add two other sex situations. They are however artificial and above all sterile.
